Tip: If you're patching a BPS/IPS file to a ROM, make sure that your ROM is clean (unmodified) before you patch it. If it's not clean, use ROMclean to fix it.

Satoru Iwata, President of Nintendo, dies at age 55
That bile duct growth was also the reason he missed E3. I guess this could have been expected but very few would have actually known the severity of the situation.
ya i think they were trying to keep the severity of it quiet. there were statements made to shareholders and stuff recently about how he's taking some time off but this is still pretty sudden. rest in peace.
I...don't really know what to say about this, I've never been a fan of Iwata's policies, but someone's death is always sad news, especially someone as big as him.
I know that people aren't immortal, but I can do without the constant reminders. It's a bit hard knowing that just a month ago, we were watching his Muppet form turning into Peppy Hare.
Genyo Takeda and Shigeru Miyamoto will apparently run the company interim until someone can take his place. Whoever is chosen, hopefully they can fill his shoes.
The man was a legend, he was the lead programmer for EarthBound, he ported Pokemon's battle system to n64 in a week with no reference documents and then helped GameFreak compress Gold and Silver enough to fit Kanto in the game. He was also responsible for Smash Bros on the n64 and later helped Melee reach its deadline and convinced Sakurai to continue the series after Melee. And cut his on paycheck after the whole 3DS and WiiU debacle so nobody had to be laid off.
I don't know what to say, he wasn't like Hiroshi Yamauchi who came into this industry into blindness, this man lived and breathed video games. A software engineer first and foremost who just happened to become Nintendo's CEO out of hard work and amazing talent. He's hard work paid off with amazing games like Earthbound and he lead Nintendo to heights never seen before when he became president with the DS and Wii. He wasn't afraid to represent the company and at times be the face of it with Nintendo Directs.
Damn, despite him unfortunately dying so young, he's still had a hell of a run. He's done so much hard work on games and running a company, so many great things have been due to his hard work. And even though some of his choices as president were questionable, there's no denying is overall positive impact on Nintendo and the gaming industry as a whole. What a hell of a life he had, I honor him and look up to his hard work as an inspiration.
We salute you.

I just can't believe this is real. He looked perfectly fine at E3 last month and during all of those Nintendo Directs, and I hadn't realized he was having health issues. Just completely in shock.
