Other things:
oh no you won't
i'm fixing everything
your list won't be used, i already did one.
and last, remember you're NOT helping me to organize this. Centipede and I are the ones to organize everything. you can help giving other people actual feedback or, at the least, not asking for progress.
also can someone make a dummy post for me to post feedback
I also have unsampled version of Hot-Head Bop. It's very good. However, I will have school from Tuesday so I think to find some ideas. I think I will do my submap work at home in weekends.
And have you already created new base ROM yet, Erik?
-------------------- Believe what you want, not every sentence is true.
Haters will always be haters and try and make you blue.
But blue is a pretty color, it doesn't have to end.
Even if the hate, is hidden within your "Friends".
I just realized I never actually put the Map16 files in my download. My fault, my apologies. I've updated the file now, so check back a couple of posts for an updated download link.
1. Wrong palette.
2. These rocks are the wrong palette.
3. These small hills are, once again, the wrong palette.
4. Same as 3.
5. Cutoff, two tiles are missing from these corners.
Aside from those issues, this submap is still rather square in design and has almost no variation in height. The palette in general is also kind of boring to look at, and is almost identical to the Star World submap from Super Mario World. I know it's an ice world, but surely there are better choices for that?
I'd also like to bring up another thing; wouldn't ExGFX work better for Peach's Castle? Minor issue, of course, but still a suggestion.
I'm sorry for not having the level feedbacks for today but school has been a bit hard lately. I'll try to get everything, at the least, sorted tomorrow.
I'm really sorry.
Merc: That indeed sounds like a desert theme. I don't what you can change to make it more jungleish, but sounds very nice like that.
Ten: That looks interesting, to say the least. The way you enter the level is something I don't see often, and I like it, the palette is really nice. But, I'm sot sure at all. While it does look nice I think there are some very difficult jumps, but it might be just me.
I would choose to replace the desert theme. That one you made sounds better. Maybe just change the organ for a sitar and see how it changes?
I don't really think the organ makes it sound any less desert-y, so I'll just send it to you and leave it up to you as to whether or not you want to do that
