If you happened to read my other thread, don't mind it. While the ascetic concept sounds awesome and I was about to go halfway through it, I decided to lean toward a much simpler hack, as I don't want the ideas I had before to go to waste, so this hack was born.
And those hacks I cancelled will have some of the best ideas revived in this one.

This is also a result of inspiration striking again, and I predict the levels to be shorter than average (with maybe the exception of the last level?), and I'm not sure how many stages it will have at the moment. I hope to not suddenly give up for once, as I've never released a complete version of a hack of that nature. Expect it to focus on quality over difficulty as always, but I don't want it to be as overly intricate as how my previous projects went. Finally, some screenshots:
Intro

Main plot.
Double Jump Alley

The title, as well as the message, explain the whole gimmick.

The last room before the midpoint.
Coin Snake Mayhem

The beginning. Focuses on directional coins and eating blocks.

What purpose does that snake serve for?

Second half.

How am I so creative? I think taking walks might have something to do with it.
Every single level I will ever make in SMM2 will be easier than Ultra Necrozma.
I'm thinking of making the levels be beaten the order you want after the first level, but all of them have to be beaten in order to reach the final stage. I'm sort of baffled as to where did my motivation to build this hack come from, and it might be because hacks with shorter levels such as Banzai Mario World and the now cancelled Foxtrot Uniform gave me a boost to do it. This perhaps is more set to be the quickest update I've ever done to date due to the aforementioned reason.

Oxygen Starvation, the level based on the air meter that is meant to be inspired by when I last included the same gimmick in Facedesk.

Move out of the way when you have the opportunity to do so.

The Flipper, the level that was supposed to be in one of those cancelled hacks of mine. I'm having tons of fun with this gimmick.

Switch Barycenter. I wonder whether the palette looks better or not.

I really can't say much about the aesthetics, but the design looks quite nice judging by the pictures. Also the cave palette is just fine if you ask me.

Currently: Bringing back the footer I had in 2013.
Very cool screenshots, especially the 2 Screenshot I really like!
And the Cave palette looks good.

I have always thought that shorter, easier-difficulty Kaizo hacks are fun and easy to make. It can be difficult constantly coming up with really complex and puzzling level design, and usually it's just easier doing stuff in the style of the original (not saying the complex stuff isn't cool too). It's also easier for people to play your levels when they don't have to use immense slowdown or figure out what's going on (not sure what difficulty level this is, but it looks either than your other stuff).

Also the cave palette looks the best out of all the screenshots.

I think that the water might be too dark compared to the ground, and the 3 colors in the ground's gradient seem to be a bit too close to each other. Screenshots look great though!
Yeah, I found out that hacks with overly complex stunts aren't my kind at times, and when I started making this hack eventually, I wanted to try out an entirely different product from what I usually do. While longer levels do sound insane, they get quite tiring if you don't get the perception needed to persist. As for the difficulty level, this hack will start easier and, as you progress, it gets more difficult and more creative.

Thanks for the input (and thanks to everybody else for the feedback)! Regarding the palette, I'm not the best at that stuff, but I'll tweak it a little bit.
