I just want the game over. Vote please.
Of all people to agree with Falconpunch, MarioFanGamer was the first one. You see what I mean when I say there's something fishy going on?

Anyway, it also looks like that Impy was the Witch and made Undy a wolf (okay, now my distrust makes sense).

I just checked back and yes, they did say that. That would make underway the most suspicious right now, since he would for sure have a Werewolf card. But like I said, something seems off, he has been unrealiable the entire game like he's trying to accomplish something (that something could be him not being lynched to be fair).

I know I'm not the most credible person right now and you're not actually going to believe me but I very much assume that I am on team village, so I would like to advise you to prefer lynching BMM over FP.

This makes me a bit confused as to who's on what team. But again I don't like the fact that you're defending Falconpunch.

Nono RanAS, you're totally lying. If you were the Revealer, I would've not claimed Revealer, but something like Troublemaker or Robber. Try again.

But my card is the Revealer. There's no other card it could be.

RanAS just claimed Revealer to counter FP

No, I claimed it because it was my card. If it was to target someone else like you say, then you really think I would choose Falconpunch when there's more suspicious people here right now? No, I said that because info is info, and I knew that it would probably cause some repercussions, but it's better than holding it off until nobody cares anymore. Case in point, everyone just wants the game to end already at this point.

I'll agree and say that we should probably vote now.

Voting falconpunch means not believing underway about him starting as tanner. Either way, that still has a chance of being a vote for tanner.

Troublemaker actually moves after witch, so underway would already be wolf by the time he was switched.
Anyway, now seems like a good time to vote.

*everything stops*
Yeah, that's me. You're probably wondering how I got into this situation...
*cut to next post*
This whole thing became a clusterfuck but yeah I guess we can vote now.
I PMed J_128, notifiying him that if he wishes to end the game he should post so in the thread. Then due to concerns that waiting for all players would take too long, on IRC in #office I gave an hour before I would end the day phase. That time is up.

VOTING TIME

Players, please PM (or query on IRC) me the name of the person you would like to lynch. You are allowed to change your vote ONCE.

If you voted before the end of the day phase, it doesn't count; you must vote again.

The voting period will last for 24 HOURS after this post or until all players have voted, whichever comes first. At the end of the voting period, if a player hasn't voted, their vote will be assigned randomly.

EDIT: During voting, nobody is allowed to discuss strategy or say who they voted for. Otherwise, feel free to discuss the game.
END OF GAME

NIGHT ACTIONS
  1. Prizm, the Doppelgänger, wakes up and copies underway's Drunk role. He becomes the Doppelgänger-Drunk. Then he swaps his card with Center Card C, the Alpha Wolf. Prizm joins the werewolf team. Since he obtained a werewolf role due to the Robber and NOT the Doppelgänger, he doesn't get to wake up when the werewolves do. This means he doesn't get to see if there are any other wolves, and the other wolves don't get to see him.
  2. Impetus, the Mystic Wolf, wakes up alone. Despite being a werewolf, Prizm doesn't wake up. Impetus looks at Center Card A (the Witch) and, believing she is a Lone Wolf, looks at K3fka's card (the Aura Seer).
  3. BlackMageMario, the Apprentice Seer, looks at Center Card D and sees the Center Wolf.
  4. J_128, the Robber, chooses not to rob anyone.
  5. MarioFanGamer, the Troublemaker, swaps the cards of Falconpunch (Revealer) and underway (Drunk).
  6. K3fka, the Aura Seer, sees that Prizm, Impetus, BlackMageMario, and MarioFanGamer have all looked at or switched cards previously in the night.
  7. underway, the Drunk, swaps with Center Card D, becoming the Center Wolf and joining the werewolf team.
  8. Falconpunch, the Revealer, looks at J_128's card and sees the Robber.
  9. RanAS (the Tanner) and The Koopa Resistance (the Bodyguard) slept soundly through the night.

With 7 out of 10 votes, the town starts to lynch BlackMageMario, but The Koopa Resistance--the Bodyguard--protects him from being lynched. With no other majority (at least two votes are required to lynch), the town is unable to lynch anyone.

Werewolves win!

COMMENTS
Yes, none of the werewolves knew who the other werewolves were. However, near the end of the day phase Prizm told me in query that he was 99% sure underway was Center Wolf. +1 point to Prizm.

There are a number of things I'm surprised nobody caught. For starters, nobody really doubted Impetus's Witch claim at all, even though at the start I specifically mentioned it's possible that nobody has Witch.

The crux of the game was Prizm's claim that BMM was the Alpha Wolf. There were two things with this claim that should have been pointed out but weren't:
  1. Prizm stated he was able to use the ability of the Apprentice Seer that he got from Drunk. He passed it off as being tired and it was never mentioned again. However, if he had actually grabbed Apprentice Seer from Drunk, and therefore was town, he would have had no reason to say he used its ability in the first place. The mistake he made because he was tired was that he made an easily falsifiable claim; he made up a claim in general because he was a werewolf.
  2. If Prizm's claim was correct that BMM was Alpha Wolf, that means that somebody else was Center Wolf. Instead of simply stating back and forth "I am not" "You are too", players could have determined if anyone else was acting suspicious and used that to confirm or deny Prizm's claim.

Prizm had the opportunity to legitimately claim (Doppelgänger-)Tanner and he didn't do it.

Nobody took TKR into account. He had the power to save BMM as the Bodyguard (a claim which went uncontested), and stated flat out that he believed Prizm was lying and BMM was the Apprentice Seer. From that point on, it would have been best for the town to ignore the BMM/Prizm argument altogether and look for another possible wolf, but everybody ignored his post.

I would have posted my mistakes with Drunk and Witch even if both roles had started in the center.

To underway, who deleted the PM saying what role Drunk claimed in order to fix my mistake: I couldn't tell you why I still posted the mistake because it would reveal to you that there was a Doppelgänger-Drunk.
Well at-least that's over.
btw I'm still interested in hosting, but if anyone else wants to do it you can
Actually a ridiculous game, I had considered imp being mystic wolf for a bit but dropped the theory pretty quickly since no witch counterclaim turned up. Also thank god MFG turned up in time lmao.

Good guard by TKR btw, first time a bodyguard almost changed something I think.
TKR, you idiot...You gave the Werewolves the victory!

The game was ridiculous, I agree. I knew for sure I wasn't a Werewolf. And nobody believed me...

e: In for next game.

Uh, no?
what

if i hadn't been a FUCKING ABSOLUTE RETARD AND HAD VOTED FOR UNDERWAY WE WOULD OF WON.

god DAMNIT

im fucking garbage.
TKR was actually the town's only hope of winning. Only two people had to vote for a werewolf, and there was enough confusion that it was possible.

haa...

holy FUCK that was probably the best game of onuw i have ever played. I'm going to break down my viewpoint bit by bit cause nnnnn

First off we can't ignore the gaffe of accidentally seeing the role i drunked. That made my play a bit easier theoritically. Since I knew i was now alpha wolf from center, coming in i knew bmm was 100% in being app seer. It was even easier considering bmm was already suspect of being alpha wolf so i could easily pull pinning alpha wolf on bmm off. Call out underway cause he probably drunked a wolf role, lynch the townie.

and then i forgot how drunk worked. The role i doppled. Which had a pm in my inbox saying "because you drunked this role, you dont do its action". My only excuse i have being i was tired after a long day at work and little sleep, enough that i was actually fucking up my spelling over irc. I thought i was coming in at the tailend of the game and had to try everything to save myself.

underway actually caught my major fuck up over irc and the moment that happened i was convinced my game was over and i was 100% getting voted for and immeditaly lost the game with it. I actually told noivern over query "watch me claim tanner" and tried slipping in that i doppled tanner and was lying 100% and that my gaffe was intentional to draw attention to myself, in the very "im tanner" wolf desperation play...

And then k3f comes in with the clutch with his aura seer post. All of a sudden the game rhetoric switches 360 to "see i told you i was dopple" and trying to figure out where everybody else standed. and somehow everybody forgot that i was lying out of my teeth, forgot my 10/10 fuck up, and i somehow got the bandwagon aginst bmm started again.

Imp actually being wolf surprises me 300% though. Like i thought for sure fp was wolf and voting him would mean a loss for me. I somehow managed to fuck up both underway and imp's entirely functioning wolf play with what i did lol.

I can't believe that a) i got the bmm vote i was looking for despite fucking up horrendously b) we won even though it got bodyguarded.

but ohmy god that was such a fun round to play please more like this

sign for next game, idc about host

mod edit: let's not stretch tables

Later.
Well, at least I tried. I think the problem was that even though we knew some of the actual wolves, everyone thought that we should lynch BMM over underway because BMM had some of the biggest fights of the people in the game. Also, I'm surprised Prizm got away scot-free with that many slip-ups.

Also signing up for next game.

*everything stops*
Yeah, that's me. You're probably wondering how I got into this situation...
*cut to next post*
Yeah at the very end I was like "oh you ARE wolves" so I just kinda shrugged and took the win. I was very concerned for a while that Falconpucnh was tanner after the TM switch but I figured it was better to stick to my guns and it paid off =p

Oh, and I guess I perfectly fooled everyone with the witch claim =?
I guess I should add, while I don't mind Noivern hosting I'm personally interested in running a setup with a few custom roles in, designed to improve the gameplay of marks and make marks/vampires more fun.

These would be:

Mark Seer: You wake up and see all players who ended the Dusk Phase with a different mark to their starting mark. (Mark Seer wakes up at night before the Werewolves).
Counterfeiter: You wake up and give a counterfeit mark to any player (Including yourself). This mark can look like any mark, but has no effect. (The Counterfeiter wakes up at dusk before the assassin).
Hexer: You wake up and give a player the Mark of the Hexed. That player can not wake up and take their action normally during the night phase, but will learn that you are the Hexer. (Wakes up at dusk before Cupid)
Tax Collector: You may declare the name of a mark. Any player with that mark must give it to you. If multiple players have that mark, one of them is chosen at random. All players can hear the mark that is declared, but do not know who declared it, or if the mark was exchanged. (Wakes up at night, before the Witch.)
Okay, I was correct that someone was a lone wolf but on the wrong person.
Yeah, the round was so confusing, especially at the end, where it was "You are the wolf" "No, you!" and Impy wasn't suspected at all, especially since she didn't take part in the discussion. So my smaller part that BMM wasn't Alpha was correct.
Moreover, the only other wolves were Prizm and Undy, both whom are only wolves because they were drunk. That means, if one of them would have been lynched then tow would have won more by luck than by strategy.

Rest in peace, Near.

Basically just a mark equivalent of aura seer. Especially considering how vampire roles are pretty powerful, im ok with this. (also theres a better name somewhere lol)

I'd be ok with this if this is handled curator style where there's a list of 4 possible fake marks, and you can't self give. If that ends up being the case, could be a really fun role to play with.

Not a fan. Having a town aligned role that's a roleblock isnt the best idea, even if you have a possible confirm chain. Could be neat, but im not sold.

Cool i guess, but the multiple mark actions are kind of janky. I suppose its cause one player can't have multiple marks, but it still feels odd to have to randomly choose somebody using actual rng. I'm also unsure what you mean by "give the mark". If the player is a mark-dealing role do they need to target you, or is their mark just automatically handed to you? If so, do they just revert to clarity?
e: actually pass on tax collector ignoring the slight jank there's only ever gonna be about 3-5 marks to declare depending on the game, there's not enough room for this role to operate to its intent

Im also not entirely sure on the idea of having custom roles consideing we've fucked up the roles 3 games in a row, but ill roll with it

Later.
The moment I saw that my card was the Tanner I realized I was doomed from the start.

I seriously did not expect most of the votes to be B.M.M., for me I still believed he was town and the argument that he was a wolf was kinda weak, so I thought that at best it would've been 50% of the players or so. But it's not like it mattered because I was the actual Tanner, and even if I was town I would probably be ignored either way.

Yeah, sorry I had to cause more ruckus there at the end, I was hoping that the votes would either be distributed enough that somehow I would get votes or that the Bodyguard wouldn't allow the first one to be lynched (which it did and that action actually saved a town) and I would be lynched instead, but it turned out that nobody was lynched. Basically, I couldn't win either way.

Near the end of the game I was trying so hard to think "How would a werewolf act in a situation like this?" basically trying to make people see me as a Werewolf. I could just claim whatever role and roll with it, but that would probably give me away as the Tanner. I needed a more elabore lie than that. If I had claimed most other town roles, K3fka would easily realize I was lying because it wouldn't match up with his post, so I needed to claim either the Revealer or Bodyguard and make myself sound slightly suspicious, but still try to play like I'm actually that role.

Plus the fact that I was late and that I tried to counterclaim Falconpunch, which was involved in MarioFanGamer's Troublemaker claim (which ended up being true, but he was suspicious throughout that game), I thought maybe this could work. Of course I failed, some of you thought I was a Minion and I guess everyone else was too focused on the rest of the mess to pay attention to what I was doing.

That Aura Seer role vastly reduced the amount of people I could be, werewolf or town. I could only have been: Center Wolf, Minion, Revealer, Bodyguard, Drunk or Tanner. So it was likely that I would just not be able to do anything that would get me voted as a Werewolf unless the werewolf team tried to throw me under the bus, which didn't happen of course.

I guess I could've made a crazier claim, but I honestly believe that people would think I was a Tanner immediately afterwards. As soon as underway claimed he was Tanner in the beginning I knew something weird was going on, but I wasn't able to figure it out.
