ExGFX Contest: August 2015 - Results

After a week, you can have your results! Thank you for being patient and all.

Judging was a little unexpected... I mean: I had sorted out judges before the contest started, but most of them wanted to wait until the theme was announced to see if they wanted to enter. If they didn't enter, they'd see if they would judge. So, in case, I contacted other people about judging just to be safe. In the end, I didn't like to say no and ended up with five judges and myself. Thanks a lot to Hinalyte, Dr. Tapeworm, antimatterhunter, Ladida and Sixcorby. The only judge I actually did turn away was Lightvayne - he didn't judge for once. Besides, he's too busy driving his van and playing games on his new iPad.

Anyway, enough of my waffle, time for the results!

1st: 237/300 - This entry was barely mine - I should have been disqualified.
2nd: 195/300 -62 points
3rd: 215/300 +20 points
4th: 260/300 +45 points - New record!

But seriously though, you did well my pillowshaded bro. When I saw your and some others' entries, I almost lost hope of placing. So much great stuff, and competition was so tough, it was certainly one of those times that I couldn't really predict the result of a contest. I'm glad I've won, but at the same time, I feel bad for the effort everyone else put into their entries, haha! What really matters is the fun of doing this, and I hope everyone had it just like I did.

Congratulations to everyone, esp. the other winners! Judging was also really nice this time, although a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see Sixcorby's comments, but no big deal since we got many judges.

Wow. Placed in both categories. Wasn't expecting my BG to place even in the top 5.

Congrats to everyone! There were much more entries than last time and was very fun!
