Tip: Make sure that ALL exit-enabled pipes, doors, etc. have a screen exit defined, or they'll take you to Level 0, the "endless" bonus game. Unless Start+Select is enabled, the only way out of it is to reset the game.

[NOT DEAD] The Final Fantasy World - Amalgamation Revived
Samus and Yukari decide to head south. When they reach what they could consider a landmark, an impassable line of thick trees to the south, they happen upon a puzzle, etched into stone. It's not stopping them in any way, it's just kinda there.
Talon heads north. He moves from this world into another, perhaps more familiar one. Feel free to pick your statcard up and head into the Zelda World Thread, Prizm.
Not long after Samus finishes the puzzle, the trees blocking the way to the south thin out, as though life was being sucked directly out of them. You can now pass through that way.
Yukari and Samus head over to the largest tree in the forest, and find out why they call it the Living Forest. This tree has a face.
It seems to be shaking a little, and you can see some leaves fall every now and then. This is where the scream came from earlier, though, and you can still see the meteor hanging in its branches. It looks very hot, likely hot enough to cook something off of.
It's a giant meteor. Still - ah! - hot from re-entry, and it is emanating a massive, almost oppressing amount of magical power... you're probably getting a bit uncomfortable down there, lemme jump off onto a branch and conduct more experiments.
Yukari jumps off onto a branch, unsummons Ran (who unsummons Chen), and takes out a portable SCIENCE kit to experiment on the meteor.
*CRASH* Oops. Uh, Samus, you okay down there? I seem to have dropped a meteor onto you. This may impede progress. Ran, can you and Chen get that thing off of her?
The tree roars in pain. It shakes quite violently, making Yukari fall out of the tree's lower branches, where she was examining the bottom of the meteor.
: "GET OFF! Do you have any idea how much that HURTS?!"
: "...shit. Right, well, yes, I can talk. And this meteor is very, very painful. I would appreciate you helping me to remove it, but NOT by climbing up my trunk."
: "Please. No. I don't have any idea what a missile is, but shooting things at it is not the way to go about it. I'd like you to travel through me and gently push it out, if you could."
The tree opens its mouth up wide, and you see that it looks much larger on the inside than it does on the outside. It's a veritable dungeon in there!
"Well, I will try to help you. Come on, lets go, Yukari!"
Samus slowly walks into the living tree's mouth, with her Arm Cannon ready to fire at any threat. She is absolutely baffled as to how a dungeon could fit into a tree of this size, but she contains her confusion as she walks in.
Officially a Mega Man addict. Major thanks to Giga and Erik557 for the layout.
