Yukari and Samus finalize their levelups, and head into the cave.

You find out that the cave is called the Windhole Temple, because for a moment after you enter, a dialog window appears at the bottom of your vision saying such. On the inside of the cave there is a rock platform suspended by two bridges, with chests on it. Also, for some reason, there's a bed in the back of the cave. Looks like it'd be a good place to nap for a while.

Yukari wanders off to the bed to tend to her (gaping) wounds.

My bad - I forgot to mention that there's a gaping hole in the middle of the cave. The bridges are connecting the two sides of the hole perpendicular to your line of sight from entering, and you can walk around the entire perimeter. The bridges are on your level, as is the suspended platform.

Upon further investigation, Samus finds that there's a strange tile embedded in said platform with an 8 on it. ...Unless you're looking at it sideways. If you look at it with your back to the entrance, it's an infinity symbol.

Yukari climbs into the bed, and completely breaks various other laws of physics as she wakes up mere seconds later, at full health! Apparently that bed is magic - an anesthetic, a healing station, and compressed temporal space, all in one.

"Wait, didn't you just get in that bed a few moments ago? *sigh* Never mind, it's not the strangest thing that's happened today. Now about opening those chests..."

Samus wonders what the strange 8 tile on the ground is. She snaps out of her thoughts and opens one of the chests. Maybe she takes a rest on that time-warpy bed afterwards.

Good thing there were only two of them. Yukari turns one of the chests into a makeshift bedside table after looting its three Cure Potions, and Samus finds three ~~Heal Potions~~ Remedies.

Samus takes a seat on the bed, and magically feels a lot better when she wakes up, relatively a few seconds later, as well. Sadly, this does not repair the damage to her suit.

There's nothing left in the Windhole Temple that you can interact with. The wind coming from the hole is pretty loud, though.

You leave the cave, and figure that scaling the mountain is a much better idea than going across the bridge to that town you can see.

You come up to the base of the mountain, and climb to what you could consider to be a checkpoint - just through a corridor of rock spires, between two opposing cliff faces. If anyone were to fall from either of them, they would surely die. The wind around here is very strong, too - partially from the height, partially due to something else, Yukari thinks. Maybe the same thing that was making the Windhole Temple blast its air about. Even if you're skilled at jumping or flying, now is definitely not a good time to try.

There are paths to the north, and to the south. You can't see much further.

Hopefully, the grey border on the left side of the image is obvious. You're in a dungeon, but can't see the whole thing. You can see what's nearby, though. That warp tile just takes you back to the overworld.

Samus looks around.

"Well, I think we should go north. We can explore the other path later."

Samus goes north up the stairs. (or is it a ladder?)

Samus offers for them both to travel north, up the stairway carved into the mountainside, but Yukari declines, and heads south on her own. Samus might take this opportunity to huff, but she heads north regardless.

To be honest, I don't have a description for every square of the mountain. But I do have some random events!
