I guess, just head south. I might go back and investigate that bridge later, though.
You walk along the rocky mountain, and keep walking until you come across... You... You can't quite make anything out. Everything is sort of a wash around you, until finally the place you were standing has blurred into a small, ornate room. Seems like a temple, but it has no entrance or exit. The floor seems to shift underfoot, almost like the patterns on it are part of some kind of mechanism. In fact, maybe they are? You've seen some strange things recently.
In the very center of the room is a small device, one that could easily be mounted on the wrist, or in your case, intergrated into your suit. It looks like a smartphone, if a bit chunkier...
As you touch it, you feel an unusual power within you for a brief. Command over reality. At least, a part of it. You know you're about to recieve a message, and somehow, you have the ability to choose who its from...
Do you want to save the world, do you want power, do you want order or do you want destruction? Or... None of those things. Maybe you can just take this device without anything at all happening. Maybe you should just leave well enough alone. Whatever this mysterious device is, it has a great power. And you suppose you can't have found it by mistake either.
The Water Hag slaps Yukari with its Fin! However, her luck finally kicks in, and she grazes the attack, getting 6 points!
The Poltergeist tries to use Multiply, but there is no space for it to multiply into.
And cue the small girl in question stumbling to her feet and dusting herself off, grumbling under her breath. After a brief moment of looking around, she heads westward, intending to figure out what in the hell is going on.
Want to see some of my cool swords? Well, too bad, right now you only get to see one of them, and it's my avatar. Might set up some kind of gallery/portfolio at some point, though.
Samario Bird That Carries You Over A Disproportionately Small Gap
The truth never spoken.
Location: The Knife's Edge of Nonexistence
You assimalate the Amalgamation Debugger into your suit, and as soon as you do, the room fades out and you're back where you were standing before. Some information comes up on your visor telling you the device was successfully installed, and you tinker around to find out what it can do...
The first thing you find is a messaging system. Apparently you can send messages to anyone else with this device, as well as send messages via whatever systems might exist in a world. Mail, texts... The logistics of this must be incredibly complicated. Seems like you've already recieved a message.
So, you're the lucky first person to discover this debugger huh? Maybe you've heard talk of whats going on, or maybe you haven't yet. We're in the aftermath of a huge inter-world war, and things are looking grim right now. We've talked before but... In the aftermath, the amalgamation engine had to be reset, so you've probably forgotten everything, no? Regardless, if you've found this, I guess it means you're willing to help out. Luckily, nowhere is too messed up yet, but the area known as the world of 'Fire Emblem' is looking glitched out and unstable. The 'Zelda' world was heavily damaged too, and though its just being held together by the magic that wrought it, tears are everywhere. As for the other worlds, people have been going misisng, just like you went missing from your world. I'm thinking this is a power play by adversaries that haven't reared their heads yet. Anyway, I'll leave a little list of tasks for you on the debugger, and help you on your way. We'll both need all the help we can get, I think this is going to be an uphill fight.
Huh. Come to think of it, you don't remember anything much from right before you woke up in this strange place. Maybe this HZ is onto something?
What else is in this thing... A warp feature, though it has a long cooldown. Who knew that little piece of tech could transport you across worlds. Seems it takes a while to recharge though.
Lastly, hey, a debugger. It also has a long cooldown, but it can be used for loads of things. Probably best to make sure you need it before burning the charge on it though.
Samus poofs.Yukari begins talking to someone as though they were right beside her, making Ran question her sanity a little. She uses Danmaku Shot, and she and Ran both target the Water Hag, dealing 15 damage, and defeating the Water Hag.
The Poltergeist succeeds in Multiplying this time.
Ran fires at one Poltergeist while Yukari fires at the other.
Yukari, in the middle of battle, relays a message to Chen.
"Don't worry about the specifics. Somewhere, a girl needs your help. Climb Mount Ebott Gale, she'll be waiting there."
