I recommend hypercam #2. Its quality sucks, but it's free.

Basicly. I edit a lot of the SMW levels to be harder and then put them as on level.

That video shows only the hard edit how ever. The kaizo one that you guys will play will be harder. And it will have my own custome music.

Hypercam is awful. Particularly because of the big distracting watermark on the top of the screen, and the video quality's pretty bad too.

Camtasia seems to be the best I've used, as it can actually record without slowing down your computer. Fraps is also good if you can get it to work with your emulator. I'm not sure how free those options are.

Crys is right on about snes9x by the way. There's a special version you can get at tasvideos.org for tool-assisted runs and it allows you to export AVIs. Only downside is that you can't record audio commentary at the same time. Although if you have no other option, you can record your commentary simultaneously using a wave editor, then mix the audio with the video after. That's rather complicated, though.

g-virus, how about using the question block's graphics, but changing the pallette in map16 for the kill block, and colouring it a different colour? that's what i did and it looks a lot better lol

hey about the second map thing. there should be a 3rd map too and I think this guys Kaizo(hard version) would have some really good levels to put in it. It could be like a whole kaizo game with a bunch of levels instead of like 7.

Just found this thread via google, and I happen to have an evil hack I've been making, called Super Not Nice World. There's no custom blocks, sprites, or ExGfx, though I did mess around a bit with the map16.

The level is called "Not nice" and is level 105. It is tested and is possible. Time is 300 seconds, and I just beat it with 15 seconds left.

Yay! I found an acceptable way to make munchers float in mid-air: Just put a cloud block under them. It makes sense, but it acts like just a walk-through dirt block

You can use mine if you want. I put some death blocks in my level and if we both use the same one, it'll free up a map16 block.

I doubt we'll have map16 problems. there's more then enough pages.

I think the final score will be a fraction.
