dude, I could beat a kaizo level at /2 in 8 minutes. Here I am stuck in your level at /15 and still can't beat it.

Sorry guys, but if these levels get too hard, they (the players) will think they're all like that, and not play anything at all.
that defeats the entire purpose pf this hack. people have worked very hard to make there levels. now you are changing the rules at the last second, taking out the people who technically did the best.
at the very least, I believe we should make 2 versions of the hack: one "easy" version like you have said and another "hard" version with ALL the levels. If you dont like that, you could also make a "special" world in the hack containing the ones you deem too hard.
sorry if its too much work for you, I just feel like this was the first time in smwc history that we were given a chance to be cheered on for our difficulty intrests, and it has just been taken away. I am completely willing to make the "hard version" myself if you dont have the time dots; I just really want to set this one thing right.
the easy/hard hacks seem alright, but that means twice the work for me. XP

and Dots, you don't need to work on the hack all by yourself. Many people have already shown signs of interest of helping out with the hack (like unknown5642)

ummmm... doesn't removing the hardest parts of the hard levels kinda defeat the purpose of this?
EDIT: By the way, I was using different graphics for the kill blocks in my level and they kinda suit the theme of the level a bit better (They kind of look like good graphics on an 8-bit console)
could I keep mine? it doesn't REALLY matter, and they're just palette edits of the ? block, but..

you guys, its already been resolved. dots figured out another plan of action that will include ALL LEVELS. I know what im talking about (sorry if ive said too much dots )

Not that my say matters much, but I'd suggest an earier level, becuase the intro video could give some people an idea how to progress in said level (at least to a point), and not knowing what to expect is very fustrating to some people. And this hack is all about fustrating, from the levels I've played.

The Solution:
At the very beginning, I had started off with an RPG OW. That was too small, and I said I would make another one, right? People were assuming that the levels would be in order, when probably the best idea was to make an RPG OW. This way the player could play every level, without having to beat it to continue.
There is also a way to the ratings of the levels (easy-hard). Since I'm learning ASM, I was thinking my first project would be to make a little bar that appears over Mario's head, telling the difficulty (0=hard 8=insane) of the level he's over.
Is it better than before?
Oh, and for the intro level, better not make it too hard, cause then it may screw up.
Okay, here is my level (again) on a different host site, it should be fine to download.
I'd say I did my job making it hard, but it can vary. For example, I got through it completely once with no problems (zillions of savestated though) but then I tried again and I got halfway through it and I couldn't make a jump because for whatever reason, the bullet bills chose to shoot in a different pattern than they had been doing every single time in the past.
And then some jumps you make them once... I could never make it again after about 50 tries, so I just quit...

Here is my Hard level, it is an INSANELY hard level, but fun, and long at the same time. This level is almost like a SECOND REALITY PROJECT 2 level, except out of my OWN design. (Im not a big fan of the SRP series, just to let you know, but good work FPI)
This level hardly or may NOT use map 16 tiles and here is the list of CUSTOM sprites I have used.
