SMBX 1.4.1 - a new (unofficial) version of SMBX

A few days ago I saw a video, where SMBX 1.4.1's gameplay and its advanced level editor (compared to vanilla SMBX 1.3 one) have been showed:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oxiHOIfHPM

This thing has been made by 5438A38A, he's from China. Apperantly you can do a lot of things in SMBX 1.4.1, like copy-pasting, multi-selecting (and multi-erasing!), there are new power-ups and NPCs, helmets from Super Mario 3D World, and Super Mario Maker and also some LunaLua's functions are also present here. For example, Hammer Bros can throw any NPC now.

Don't expect to find SMBX 1.4.1 at www.supermariobrosx.org, it's not supported by the creator of the web-site and any discussion about it is banned there.

SMBX 1.4.1 can be found at PGE's (alternate SMBX editor's) web-site, here:
http://engine.wohlnet.ru/docs/Collected/Possible%20SMBX%201.4.1/

Some notes regarding SMBX 1.4.1 and information about new stuff:
* More event actions: timer, autoscroll, etc.
* More flexible "physical environments" (aka "liquids") support: for example any event can be activated when player or NPC touches the "liquid"
* Circle fill tool has been added
* "Smart block" system. Works similarly to the one in Super Mario Maker
* Build-n GFX Editor
* More NPCs, obviously
* Completely different file formats. That means your SMBX 1.4.1 levels and world maps will not be compatible with SMBX 1.3, however SMBX 1.4.1 supports SMBX 1.3's levels and world maps.
* SMBX 1.4.1 supports PNG images, that means you won't have to create mask (-#m) graphics anymore!
* In the editor, you can export an image of your level section (just like in PGE Editor)
* Vertical wrapping support
* Custom world map music support

BUGS:
* Yoshi doesn't open his mouth when he spits out NPCs
* Yoshi doesn't hop and uses wrong graphic frames
* Some power-ups don't play sounds upon collecting them
* Blue Link can't fly (to be confirmed)
* Peach and Link can't use Mega Mushrooms. I'm okay with just "expanded pixel" graphics of Peach and Link but I at least request the possibility of Mega Peach and Mega Link
* Bumpty NPC effect may have wrong size
* SMB3 Hammer Bro's and Sledge Bro's hammers appear in front of them instead in their hands
* When player's hammer hits Reflecting Podoboos (from SMW), a lot of effects are created, instead of one

So what do you think about this?
Yoshiatom's Post
Seems pretty cool, but the fact it's complex to set up plus the fact it's unofficial I can imagine people getting confused quickly, I vote we stay on 1.3.0.1.

SMBX 1.3.0.1 was not made by Redigit so it isn't official either, actually. But yeah I agreee that it's a bit hard to set up. Oh and I forgot to say, but guys that made PGE are currently fixing SMBX 1.4.1, so you shouldn't do all this stuff to run it. It might take a bit of time though.
lmao @ it being a banned topic on the smebex fansite

Very very very shortly, this drab, workaday world and everything in it will be changed forever! Follow us into the golden country, into the empire of the senseless!
I think it's better if we stick with 1.3.0.1. It doesn't seem necessary since we only need a few more levels. I also agree with yoshiatom in that it's complex to set up.
It might be interesting for future projects, though.
I find it kinda funny that h2643 made this thread hyping SMBX 1.4.1, then made this post saying it isn't worth the download.
Yeah, the bugs that exist in the engine (and there are a lot) are really 'disgusting'. That's why I don't really like this version, however I don't hate it.

Why I said that I like this update before? Because it had all these new features that SMBX community wanted, including me. However since SMBX 2.0 was announced (which is: SMBX 1.3.0.1 + LunaLua + PGE), I find it to be a good replacement for SMBX 1.4.1. It's just that the game isn't polished very well.
I use 1.4.1 becurse the some new features overwrite the some bugs.

Btw, When I press Esc in Lvl-Editor, I can't exit the Test-Game.
1. Open config.cfg in notepad.exe
2. search for ExitKey=
3. Change the number by ExitKey to 27
4. Now you can exit the gametesting with Esc
I've got 1.3.0.1 version of SMBX, but I can give a try on version 1.4.1.

Your unit has been returned to SMWCentral. Wonder for how long...
SMBX 1.4.2 is out now: many bugs were fixed and some new features were added. Read the changelog for more information:
