Hey guys, long time no see eh?
So I made this ASM pack for Morton's Empire that shrinks the status bar, allows 512x512 tilemaps for BG3 and makes it *kind of* easy for the average user to put parallax in their levels. There's this really obnoxious bug with it though, which messes up the colors of palette 0 during lag frames. I recently came up with a fix for this; it involves rewriting the NMI routine a bit and should allow usage of the the entire palette without issue. I'll update the ASM pack in a few days, so if you have any ideas for stuff you want me to include you should say so right away.
I promised to do a few other things for this project as well and I intend to keep my word. I'm still doing the first boss as well as the transition into the final level. I'll need some graphics for that last part though. Extra Mario World is taking up all my spare time these days and I can't really do more. It's a shame I can't do more to support Morton's Empire but hopefully it will be enough.
