What's difference between the "xkas asm" and the "asar asm"? i don't know much about asm but i want to learn about :)

--------------------

I think the difference is just in the way the assemblers ..... assemble. To my understanding, Asar and xkas both have their own unique commands that do various things like optimization and such, and since they're assembler-specific you need to be using the right tool with the right commands.
Pretty much what KTB said.
Asar is like an xkas upgrade. It adds a couple of new functions such as read, which allows you to read the value at a SNES address and then use it for stuff, usually conditional assembling by checking if a byte has a certain value.
Or freespace which automatically searches for freespace in the ROM and puts the code there including RATS tags.

Other changes are that they handle math opperations differently with asar being more accurate.

is it just me or asar codes look like the c ++?

--------------------

That just you. ASM and C++ have close to nothing in common.
ASM (or 65c816) is the lowest level coding language before machinecode. C++ is a high level object orientated programing language which... let's just say is a lot better than ASM.

Unless you mean asar is coded in C++, then yes it is.

I don't think he's talking about either - I think he's saying the Asar-specific commands remind him of C++ #ab{>_>}

But that wouldn't surprise me though, I think C++ is the creator (Alcaro)'s favourite language to code his tools in so it wouldn't surprise me of some of the commands he made were inspired by it.

exactly. Some codes remind the c++ commands, and another question assembly and asm are the same thing?

--------------------

"ASM" is short for "ASseMbly" so yes.

--------------------
Okay, my layout looks ugly.

java and C# is easy to learn like assembly??

--------------------

They have very little in common so it's hard to compare. Higher-level languages are a little easier to get working, but much harder to get good at.

(Why do you want to know?)
