Well,I played the Demo until world 4.
I will leave here my review of this hack,for what I played then now.
You have a great hack here.
But I found some issues during my gameplay.
On World 2-5,I'ts pretty dificult swim with the current throwing you at the enemies all the time,the design of level even let you have a breath to recover sometimes.
Also on this same level when the auto scroll changes his direction I can't reached the way to continue the level for several tries and got crushed in the ceiling,so I think you need give to the player some more time to reach the way on that level,also you need to let the players breath a bit from the dificulty during your levels,a level that is hard all the time isn't very fun.
Well,this is an excellent hack,I just think that the only thing that is bothering me is the the design of this level 2-5 and that wind level on the deserted that makes the level unfair sometimes.
Try work on that on the next update of this hack,you doing a good work.

I played until World 4-1 so far, and I'm leaving some feedback.

I liked your hack. Not the best in the world but still very good. The heart of this hack is the fun. Most levels are fun, with clever design choices. An example is level 3-3.

At the rest, the hack is still enjoyable. Nice graphics, soundtrack, overworld, etc. I also really like the new power-ups.

Unfortunately, this hack has some excessively hard parts. Hopefully, they're small and appear in low number. But it's a thing that you might look (i.e. level 2-5).

With all that said, my veredict is 8.5/10 to your hack.

Well, I played it all and what I can say about it?

Your hack is really good, it is fun, the graphics are really clear and attractive and overall, it is good.

You should really take care of the details as presented before, like the pretty much hard bits and unfairness, but other than that, it is a good experience. Keep doing the good job!
I liked the level design of this hack, and the graphics are very nice. Keep up the good work.

Okay, first of all, this is astonishing, I absolutely love the font, music choices, palettes, overworld and so on.

Since you've been angling for some feedback, I decided to have a go and after playing the first world (I got stuck on the first castle, I'm no good at SMW hacks #w{:<}) and it seems pretty good so far!

It manages to "feel" like a Mario games fairly well; the aesthetics and music choice fit in well without feeling too bland.

Level design is fairly good, although the difficulty seem to be bit inconsistent (although this might just be me being be at SMW hacks).

A few complaints & nitpicks:


This fall happens pretty fast and doesn't really give the player much chance to figure out what's going on before the die. Add a few coins to show that a jump is needed.


The level clear screen is pretty buggy: the bonus star tiles look weird and the "COURSE CLEAR" text and such only show for a frame (1/60th of a second) before vanishing.


Small issue: when you kill a chuck with fireball, it flies way over the right, which is honestly pretty funny.


For whatever reason, these fuzzies "crawl" along nothing, which looks odd, I'm guessing they're supposed to go around the outlied blocks and you didn't orient them correctly?
also can't make this jump for the life of me



Like the jump I pointed out earlier, this comes to fast for you to react easily and I think some coins should be added as indicators.

NOT PICTURED: Some lava in the castle isn't extended all the way down, causing cutoff when you die.

In short, it's good so far, although I feel like I need to get past world 1 to make a fair judgement.
