Hi, I'm Luansilva12 Green Jerry. I'm making a new hack. It's called...
SUPER MARIO WORLD MIX!
The purpose of this hack is to play through stages of older and some of the newer Mario games. Sorry if this is against the rules.

CUSTOM THINGS INFO:
Custom Graphics? Yes, otherwise it'll be a vanilla hack.
Custom Patches? Yes, otherwise classic piranha plants would be unused.
Custom Music? Yes, but it made the hack with no sounds.
Custom Sprites? No.
Custom Overworld? Yes, otherwise the map shown in the 4th screenshot world be the original.
Custom Palettes? Yes, otherwise the hack would look -very- ugly.

First, I'll show that the NINTENDO PRESENTS logo was changed:

Now its Luansilva12 Presents.

Now, the TITLE SCREEN:

INTRO LEVEL (screenshot taken from version 1.6)

The intro level is a section of world 1-1 from SMB3

OVERWORLD

From version 1.0 to 1.4 the Overworld was the original.

SUPER MARIO BROS. (Play up to world 4-4)

World 1-1:

World 1-2:

World 1-3:

World 1-4:

The SMB1 and SMB:TLL's castles in this hack is a combination of NES (foreground) and SNES (background). Fire Mario's palette needs to be fixed.
World 2-1:

Mario is about to collect the 1-up.
World 2-2:

Mario's feet is glitched (GFX00.bin mismatch)
World 2-3:

World 2-4:

World 3-1:

The status bar is ugly.
World 3-2:

Again, status bar is ugly. Mario almost got a 1-up!
World 3-3:

And again, status bar is ugly.
World 3-4:

World 4-1:

-BEWARE-
Lakitu is here! Piranha plants still work, thought.
World 4-2:

Buzzy Beetles are included.
World 4-3:

For some reason the mushroom from the BG has a black line.
World 4-4:

The last stage of SMB1 in this hack.

SUPER MARIO BROS.: THE LOST LEVELS (Play up to world 2-4)

World 1-1:

Notice the green stem - because the classic piranha patch fix patch was applied.

Notice it again. Fire Mario palette and after-turning turn blocks needs to be fixed.
World 1-2:

It's recommended to have a cape to jump over this pit. To get it, go to the SMB3 level (it's hidden in the OW, to the right of SMB2) and try to beat SMB3 without dying or you'll have to start over from 1-1.

SUPER MARIO BROS. 2/SUPER MARIO USA (Play up to world 1-3)

In version 1.4, the item box was cutoff and Fire Mario is ugly.

SUPER MARIO BROS. 3 (Play up to world 1-Airship)

World 1-1:

Item box is cutoff and Fire Mario is ugly again, these things needs to be fixed.
World 1-2:

Slopes doesn't work properly. (In NSMB 1-1 they worked)
World 1-3:

-NOT IN THE ABOVE PICTURE-
Boomerang Bros. are replaced by Chargin Chucks.
World 1-Mushroom House:
Coming soon.
World 1-4:

It includes the autoscroll but in some parts you can't fit in so you have to be small Mario.
World 1-Fortress:
Coming soon.
World 1-5:

Status bar is hidden (requires sprite status bar or smb3 status bar).
World 1-6:
Coming soon.
World 1-Airship:
Coming soon.

And finally, showing the end-of-demo level (screenshots taken from version 1.52):

The first screenshot expains that newer updates are made at every two weeks.

Download link: (Not available because it's a ROM and I didn't make a IPS patch).

Already this does not look promising to me by that statement and the screenshots shown. One can simply either purchase the games or obtain the ROMs to just play the stages. I suggest you repurpose your hack into making more original levels but as its customary to remix, you can take some artistic liberties with having your levels reference segments and gimmicks featured in the original Mario games. Hope what I said helps.
Modern Redrawn Mario Bros. 1.5 (last update - February 14, 2023, some new bonus frames, tons of minor touchups to various poses)

On Pixel Art Requests: Depends on what it is and if I have the time for it. If its complex and I don't have the time, don't expect me to accept it.

Projects I support:

^Agree with what he said. Also, this was already made by another person and the other one looks much better. And on top of that, level recreations have been done a billion times so they're very, well, looked down upon, especially if it's SMB 1-1.
I'm posting these Game Overs because you hated it:

EDIT 2016-01-06: Oops, forgot to post the NES ones. Pirate Super Mario World and Mario Bros. included

EDIT 2016-01-21: Now the Game Boy ones. Moved Super Mario Land to this part.

*Looking at those game over screens* I dont hate your projects man. Im just saying that its not showing a lot of promise and I have offered you useful feedback which you are blatantly ignoring right now with your childish display of a response, holy fucking shit. Learn to divorce yourself from your work and learn to stop taking any negative comments you get as a personal attack.

Nobody said they hate anything, they'd just rather see something more original. I'm going to say that you shouldn't have high hopes for this hack getting past moderation as level remakes are grounds for rejection.

You're better off putting your skills to making original levels, that way your hack is a new experience. If people wanted to play the original levels, they'd download the original games.
This thread was inactive for over 2 months, so I'm reviving it...

I made a supporter userbar for the hack:

But I'm getting a lot of negative comments!

Whats the point of a thread for this hack exactly if you have no interest in feedback?
Super Mario World 3: The Koopas Strike Back
Super Mario: Grand Journey
Looks like a long list. If you're still going with the idea of level remakes using custom resources to emulate them, I would tend to think of that more as an artistic exercise akin to building a sculpture or model using a kit with instructions, not so much as a hack that's really meant to be played.
Legacy custom music
A site with a non-useless dislike button
SMW hacking channel

The name and premise of this hack reminds me of something, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

What I said months ago still stands. It's not that I have something against you, but I want to play some original levels, not recycled levels made by Nintendo. If I wanted to play SMB3, I'll play SMB3.

What he said.

Looking at the screenshots, there doesn't seem to be much to offer here. It looks like you're just using that one hack that replaces the graphics with the Super Mario All-Stars graphics (it's been awhile, I forgot the name) and you're just adding a lot of patches because you think that they'll make the hack better.

You have to realize that graphics and mechanics don't always make a game. It's the gameplay that makes the game. You need to have levels that are not only varied, but most importantly, fun.

I get your concept, but there's already a game that does most of what you're doing already: Super Mario All-Stars. I'd rather play that than this. It has the same levels, but it's more polished than what I'm seeing so far.

That doesn't mean you can have an homage to those levels, but seeing how your hack is literally the levels in those games, it's not going to interest me personally.

Try to aim for an original project.
Not only was this concept done before on the NES and done much better than this (it was called Super Mario 3Mix if I recall correctly), this hack also seems to be really bland and kinda boring. I recommend you going for a more original concept.

@LucasRCD, Mayrio, Lotica and Skewer:

Please stop posting those pointless game over screenshots, nobody here hates you work, we are only saying that level remakes has been done a lot of times, and is much better making original levels with unique and creative ideas and much more freedom instead of making this.

I think honestly at this point giving the thread any attention is pointless. Lots of people actually try to make good creative hacks and post threads asking for feedback and get nothing, while this guy makes a thread about a lazy hack and DOES get feedback and acts like a baby over it.
