Major Hack - Gemalomania - DISCORD! - Project Showoff & Discussion

I was thinking... I think I'll make this hack come true!

If anyone asks what'll be about, well, here's one thing...

There won't be Mario.

Instead, it'll be this chick:

I have established her official name: Livvie Venture!

I'll be replacing ALL of the characters, Goombas, blocks and other monster thingies with non-Mario stuff.

The story? Haven't established yet.
I hope anyone remembers this:

This will be one of the parts of the World HUB. And the graphics might be replaced by a lot too.

There'll be lots of things to change in the Mario ROM, but I'll do the best to make this a good hack!

Yep! But the stars... will be replaced by something else.

I might figure out how to make the player collect the stars without leaving the level!

Well the behavior already exists. The 100 coin stars doesn't boot you out of the level and it let's you save right there.

Never seen a hack for SM64 yet that tries to be it's own thing. I can't wait to see it in action.

Hm... I think I might'a need some help trying to replace the Mario model.

Tried everythin' to replace it.

Aaaand it seems that the programs made by Kaze like Project 12 are for later Windows.

All I can do now is make the levels.

What version of Windows are you using? I just recently did an import over Mario recently, so I might be patient enough. :-)

You should probably upgrade your Windows.

XP's already out of support (by Microsoft and other software companies)

Windows 7 (or even Windows 10) is a good upgrade.

Investing in a new PC is a good idea. XP's unfortunately on it's way out so upgrade as soon as possible.

Definitely. As for now, I'm designing levels (and working on graphics to replace coins with gems and the HUD)

...if anyone wants to give me a hand with the model replacing, that'll be great.

I have reworked on Livvie Venture's look and got this:

She now has a hat too! Or, at least, changed the colors to make them look like that. And the arms and legs are changed too.

Hm... perhaps this will be the final look for her.

Hope no one minds, but if anyone knows how to change the Mario model, can they help change him to this model here?

Her hat model texture made it hard to look in my opinion, I prefer her hatless. One too I can suggest is resize her eyes and lips smaller to give her a realistic human look.
