BassicMario's hack(update)

This is my first attemt of making a SMW hack. There is custom ExGFX, music(which I'm not abble to record yet due to crappy software). I will add (custom)enemy's and blocks, but the main focus is the leveldesign and custom graphics.

Looking good, but I'd suggest the fade fix patch and fixing the item box. It's hard to see.
If that's the in-game music, I'd suggest that you change it. It doesn't fit ruins.
Is the secret passage hint that Mario looks up around 1:00?

The music I use ingame isn't this. I thought it was rahter funny though for this video.
The secret passage is indeed where Mario looks up, but by knowing that it still isn't easy to find it, I think.

I'm really liking this level. Pretty lengthy, well-designed, nice custom graphics. The vines in particular are my favorite; they look like the dense, droopy vines you'd see in that kind of forest.

Looks like it'll turn out to be a great hack. My only complaints are the item box and the fadefix issue mentioned earlier.
I've made some updates to the first level of my hack. The fade fix is applied to my hack, the yoshi coin is different and the main change is the graphics. I've based them on the temple graphics of TRSPR(so al credits to FPI), although I customized them to fit my 'mushroom/jungle'-theme. I've tried to take some screen on the same locations as the screens I've posted above. So the changes will be easy to see.
I've also uploaded a video to my youtube channel(www.youtube.com/bassicmario), I won't post it here for obvious reasons. So if you are interested check it out on youtube.

Looks really nice, the level design is also good. Is this the first level of your hack?

Also, when I was watching the video, the Koopas' palette was a bit dark, is it supposed to be like that or is it because of the quality of the video?

Yes the quality of the video isn't that good. The koopas supposed to look the same as they do in the orininal SMW.

I think this will be the fist level in my hack. I want to add some custom sprites to this level and more sprites overall. I think YI Wild Piranha Plants would fit in the theme.
This is the place where you find your first mushroom. I want to do the same for the fireflower and for the feather. Make a special level dedicated to a new power-up.

Very nice idea, these temples could also substitute the switch palaces. Also, I have a suggestion of a custom sprite that would be good in this level: Batadon from Super Mario Land that is available for download with many other SML sprites here.
