Sixcorby Hi, Pablo!
Pablo's Corner Hey there!
Sixcorby How are you today?
Pablo's Corner I'm doing pretty good, you?
Sixcorby Doin aight myself.
Pablo's Corner Cool, cool.
Sixcorby You're one of our newest SM64 section moderators. How's it been so far?
Pablo's Corner It's been pretty interesting
Pablo's Corner I had to deal with moderating songs and now even hacks.
Pablo's Corner I even had to get involved with a certain user that likes to drink Sprite.
Sixcorby lol
Pablo's Corner But that's the joy of being a staff member.
Sixcorby Is there anything you moderated that stands out to you?
Pablo's Corner I'd definetly say the best music I heard recently comes from people like DobieMeltfire, ShrooboidBrat, MrGreenthunder, etc.
Pablo's Corner Music is always evolving and sometimes you hear good ones, and sometimes ones that definitely need more work.
Pablo's Corner Although if ergazoobi can make his new tool work, the songs might come out better than before.
Sixcorby Yes. He talked about that in his interview.
Sixcorby You're into music porting yourself. How did you get into it?
Pablo's Corner I got into it because I wanted music in my own hacks
Pablo's Corner I tried using mml2m64, which I didn't really like using because it really wasn't user friendly.
Pablo's Corner But then I heard about the XML Importer and I saw a tutorial video from DobieMeltfire and that's what started it all.
Sixcorby How did you get into SM64 hacking in general?
Pablo's Corner I got into it because I used to watch TAS videos of SM64
Pablo's Corner I saw that it was possible to hack the game, so I gave it a go
Pablo's Corner And well, that's how I got here.
Sixcorby You have several hack projects such as Sonic Adventure 64 and Project Sunshine 64. Mind telling us about them?
Pablo's Corner I have a thing where I like imagining what it would be like if a certain game with mixed with another one.
Pablo's Corner Like if Sonic Adventure was on the N64.
Pablo's Corner So I decided to make that a reality.
Pablo's Corner Of course some of these projects are pretty ambitious and I don't even know if some of them can be completed (mostly due to possible technical limitations)
Pablo's Corner But I like working around that and I do want to finish these projects.
Sixcorby Hope you do finish them eventually!
Pablo's Corner I hope so too, haha.
Sixcorby Do you have any other plans for SM64 hacking in the future?
Pablo's Corner I have some other projects on the backburner.
Pablo's Corner Some like Super Zelda 64 (continuing where Kaze left off)
Pablo's Corner And I also plan on finishing SM64: 8MB by Blackstone187.
Sixcorby I'm guessing they were passed onto you.
Pablo's Corner The second hack was
Pablo's Corner The first one was kind of my own decision, but Kaze didn't really have a problem with me continuing it so I do plan on working on it.
Sixcorby nice
Pablo's Corner I might do an original hack too, but we'll see where that goes.
Sixcorby I see you enjoy doing art as well. What got you started with that?
Pablo's Corner I've done art ever since I was a kid
Pablo's Corner My friends noticed I had a talent and I went with it
Pablo's Corner Now I'm producing two cartoons series, one that I created in middle school, and another one that I'm working with one of my best friends in my second year of high school.
Pablo's Corner It's not easy but I enjoy doing it.
Sixcorby That's very interesting. How much time do you usually spend on one piece?
Pablo's Corner The most recent animation I did took me about a couple of weeks.
Pablo's Corner Although I usually have a problem with procrastination.
Sixcorby I feel you there lel
Pablo's Corner Haha, yeah.
Sixcorby Well, those are all the questions I have. Is there anything else you want to say?
Pablo's Corner Sure, I just want to thank everyone that supports me and my projects and I hope to provide more for you guys.
Sixcorby yay
Sixcorby Was good talking to you.
Pablo's Corner Good talking to you too.
