Super Mario World Beta

That's basically all the info on the kibi name. The only other info about yoshi's name is that his japanese name was lizard buddy. There isn't really any other info about the name other than what has been found. Why would there be? It's juat a name.

I would like to see Miyamoto's interview in which he states this,"Kibi" business. I've seen unseen 64, hell I'm a staff member, but I don't see why since Slo_Mo25 simply stated it, it's true. I just want it to be official if I need to include something so minuscule.

I'm not mad or anything, but please read at least SOME of the thread. I know you put,"(probably already stated)" But, please look at some older pages, or at least my videos first. It keeps the thread cleaner.

I have to wonder if the original beta concept was for the full game to be in one island or more. Such as an island in the shape of a fireflower or something, ironically being desert and fire. This of course really hardly has any real relevance to your hack other than the beta island itself.

Other than that, I noticed this landmass in a SMW piece of art released by Nintendo. I am not certain if that is a part of the final game's island or just made up. I figured you might be a little interested in it. There are several pieces of art that do not have quite final islands, but they are rather abstract such as a small landmass covered with mushrooms.

I actually had something like that in development(a fireflower landmass) but we will see if it makes the first cut.

You have a good eye, which is really nice to know. However, that appears to be an illustration of Donut Plains. You know, the lake, the ghost house, the top secret area... Just think about it. Keep your eye out though, you never know! Thanks PuffyRynn.

Well, this is all old news. The venus pirahna as seen in your picture, has been known about for some time now, as well as the smw squished goomba. Those mini mushrooms look like small p switches though.

Dont know if this is relavant, but I dotn think this has being said.

I think they incorperated some of the beta OW into the orignal. If you look at Yoshi's island from the main OW you will see that it looks like a mushroom (if you remove the big cliff that leads to the Yellow switch palace. Just thought you'd like to know.

I quoted his post and looked up the adresses, and copied them to the search bar, then unquoted him, and the links worked fine for me.:/ Anyways, it's not anything new as I pointed out before, it's stuff taken from unseen64 which we have already seen.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't yoshi master upload those pictures on unseen64?

I was looking on Super Mario wiki about beta stuff, I seent the OW pictures. I think nintendo were gonna make the castles look like fortresses as I looked around and there was no castles (the ones that looks like towers)
I hope this hasnt being said.
