Small update on level 8.

Pretty straight-forward.

Hmm.... spikey.

Now I'm also thinking about trying something new..

Now don't panic! I'm thinking about this being more of a puzzle based sub-level, so don't expect anything unfair or super precise while also being blinded by a spotlight effect. If it sucks then I might just remove it. But I've had the idea for this in my head for over 5 years now and I really want to give it a go.

How have i never noticed this? I've just watched all the videos you posted and i have to say, this looks like a fun hack! I'm happy to see some more kaizo:hard stuff on the site as it's been kinda dead lately. Can't wait to play this when you'll release it

I've played the 6 level demo, and it was pretty fun! You should check this video here since i've found some breaks (but i assume you've fixed some in the full version you're working on). Playthrough.

Oh nice! I'll admit there's a lot of stuff wrong with the C3 demo, with blocks and sprites not working properly, but it's cool to see you playing through my levels c:

The breaks in level 6, I'm not really sure where that last yoshi came from? xD But I like what you did with the shell trick, which I completely forgot about when I made that level all those years ago. I'll definitely have to do something about that.

Also clearly shows how much better I got at making levels comparing the first two to my later efforts :p but this is definitely very nice, and useful to see where to fix things up ^^

I used a glitch called Yoshification. I despawned the Yoshi and spawned the mushroom in the same slot the next frame. For one frame the game thinks I'm riding the mushroom, and so it teleports to me (which is why i got a mushroom seemingly out of nowhere at 17:46).
One side effect of doing this glitch with certain sprites is that you'll spawn while riding a yoshi in the next room, and this yoshi will have the same palette as the sprite you did the glitch with (red yoshi uses the same palette as the mushroom). If you want to know more about this then i suggest you watch this video.

Anyways, I enjoyed pretty much every level (i did play the 2nd level fully before i made the video) so I'm looking forward to what the next levels will be like

Bruh, Yoshi really is fucked in this game isn't he? xD I'll have to sit and think about it if I want a way to fix it.

Either way, I'm glad you enjoyed it ^^ I'll come back with some updates hopefully soon, I've had a pretty busy week so far so not much time to work on it :c
