Description: Mario audaciously embarks through inscrutably abstruse Gehenna lands. To save the eminently effulgent empress Peach, from darkly pugnacious Bowser, incarcerated amidst his Cthonian Chateau.
There are three main problems this hack has:

1) Corrupted .ips patch



You probably made your .ips patch wrong, since level 2 and 4 look extremly corrupted, as you can see. Take a look at this guide for how to correctly make an .ips patch please.

2) No clean use of palettes

Honestly, the palette work you did is pretty bad. Every level could be an example of bad palette. I assume you're having troubles with Lunar Magic; if so, take a look at some tutorials. They're outdated, but they can still help you figuring out how to work with the editor.

3) Nearly kaizo design

For what I managed to play, you seem to abuse hard difficulty too much. "Scorchlands 1" is a pretty good example of this: low ceilings, precise jumps and big Mario discrimination are everywhere; you can't really get past this level unless you abuse savestates. Not to mention, the powerups are rare in this level, making it even harder than how it actually is. I can't suggest more than having some testers for your hack. They'll greatly help you with how to work with design and bug finding. Not to mention, you could also play some of our accepted hacks here, so that you could get some inspirations for your own hack.
