Graphical layer 3 Air meter by GreenHammerBro

File Name: Graphical layer 3 Air meter
Submitted: 2016-02-14 12:05:00 PM by GreenHammerBro
Obsoletes: Graphical layer 3 Air meter
Authors: GreenHammerBro
Tool: Romi's Spritetool
Type: Generator
Dynamic: No
Disassembly: No
Includes GFX: Yes
Description: When the player enters water, the air meter will appear on the layer 3 heads-up display as a bar and starts emptying. If it hits empty, the player dies. If the player gets off the water, it will refill and disappear after a second it reaches full.

Unlike 0x400's (aka. 1024)'s air meter, this generator shows the smallest amount of fill pieces as pixels, not 8x8. Thus not blocky effects.

Edit: made it easy to convert to old status bar and compressed the size on the "init" section

Fix a bug where the draw bar routine still writes 0/8 tile into scratch ram when there are 8 empty pixels or less.
I don't know what you changed but the generator presents an insistent glitch on the right part of the bar, so depending on placement, it gets disappearing at random or reappears and glitches things around. Despite that, the compatibility "mode" works but because of the graphical fault and overall difficulty for the common user, I think you should rework on it a bit and try again. Only then, it can be approved no problem.
