Just looking for some opinions and feedback on my level. hope that's okay

You know, having some screenshots of your level would be nice. Anyway, I've played your level and... I gotta say though, it needs some polishment. First things first, the Dragon Coins' palette, more especifically the glowing part, could be changed to something more fitting using ExAnimation. If you don't know how to do that, check this tutorial out.

Aside from that, all I can really talk about is the enemy placement and visuals. First off, the enemy placement: it's a bit... How should I say it... Ummm... Pointless? For example, at one point in the level, there are 2 Goombas near a ledge that just fall to their death, basically making it hard to get hit by them, in other words, the enemy placement currently isn't posing much of a challenge. And that's just one example.

And now, the aesthetics: they are OK, the palettes are a bit weird, though it could be worse, yet it could be much better. The decoration is also a bit standard, so, nothing mind blowing to see here.

I know I'm not a tester, nor have I signed up to be one, but still, any type of (constructive) feedback counts, right? Anyway, good luck!

You're going for a meadow-type level on a purplish environment. I presume the level is set at dusk. So here are some points:

Aesthetics:
- The music doesn't fit. Try looking for something a little melancholic. Not too melancholic though.
- The palettes can be improved. Try to make the sprites darker to follow the same line of the environment. Review the Dragon Coin Animation too.

Level Design:
- Review some of the enemies placement. Some of them doesn't provide any challenge to the player at all.
- From the 11th (A) screen till the end, you need to fill the level with enemies.
- There is no good reason to put three invisible blocks above the chucks.
- The cheep-cheeps after the midway point can swim out of the water. You need to change those to the ones who just swim horizontally (and make sure they swim in the water only).
- The midway point isn't right at the middle of the level. Although this isn't a requirement, I think you need a good reason to not do so.
- You can do a level using only Standard Sprites, but I think you should aim on a Specific Sprite GFX also. Maybe Pokeys, since your level provides a Yoshi. It's up to you to figure out something cool. There are so many creative things you can do.
- Maybe some Blueberries Bushes for Yoshi?

Technical Issues:
- If you're using the base ROM provided, I suggest you to change the Sprite Memory to 10 on this icon (#lm{sprhead}) to make use of "more sprites".

So basically you can try out new things and see if those actually fit your level. This level has a great gap for improvement.

Good luck!

Aren't Chucks already Tileset Specific sprites? There were Chucks in this level.

Yes, they are. But what I tried to say is that he could explore one Specific Sprite GFX. If he wants to make the level based on Chucks, he can put some more Chucks (there are just two of them in the level). Just an idea, it's up to him to find a creative way to put things together.
