Reading the Pokemon WMG entries on TvTropes has led to me thinking about this. What do you think would or should happen if there was ever a planned ending to the Pokemon anime, if it ever comes to that?
I think any or all of the following:
-Ash's dad is revealed (maybe the Ho-Oh that he saw in the first episode is his dad?)
-Ash finally turns 11
-All the Pokemon he's ever released somehow play a role and return
-Ash battles and defeats a trainer who has a team of mega Rayquaza, Genesect, Mewtwo, Arceus, Tyranitar, and Lenora's Watchog. That officially brands him as a Pokemon master, so he finds a new hobby, and maybe an actual job.
Some of this may be humorously embellished with a grain of truth to it.
