It's still fun to play, really memorable, and countless Kaizo hacks took inspiration from its design, but it has a lot of breaks, floating/stacked Munchers (particularly The Level 1 and Forky) and occasional cutoff and glitched sprites. I think this is why the newer episodic stages look a lot more polished.
that 1-level Kaizo hack that numerous LPers tried to play. I don't really remember much of it except it was painful to watch the constant load-stating on precision jumps for eons on end. The walls made of turn blocks allowed one to bypass much of the second and third rooms easily enough.
