With the upcoming baseball season looming ahead, I think it's relevant to bring up the fact that Nintendo of America owns the Seattle Mariners, a baseball team (specifically one that happens to be one of the worst ones in MLB history).
So, since I'm a fan of watching these games, I felt the need to ask: any sports fans here on this website, and what are you favorite teams? I don't expect the majority of people to answer, but I imagine there could be a decent amount here.

Nah I'm a stereotypical gay man so I won't watch sports unless it's men's beach volleyball or swimming cuz I like seeing them abs and booties.
I did casually watch the World Cup two years ago. I enjoyed the social aspect of it more, especially because they would just close the office in the middle of the day so we could go to a bar and watch it while drinking.
Couldn't give less than a fuck about watching sports but I do like working out and keeping fit such as cycling and weight lifting

Kind of but nowhere near die-hard. Basketball is the only sport I really care about watching, and it's usually college womens' basketball that I like to watch (kinda fanservicey at times). I don't usually follow the NCAA, but I still care about it slightly more than the NBA. I tend to root for the Louisville Cardinals.
IDK if this counts but I went to a Harlem Globetrotter's game one time, and it was unusual. There was one part where the ball just went up towards the ceiling.

I follow Golf during the summer, but never really got into any other sports tbh, although it's something I think I would be interested in.
i follow hockey sometimes and even more rarely various martial arts (mostly MMA and BJJ) but that's about it. barely watched any hockey this season tho, been busy with school and I don't have a tv. used to watch a bootleg stream with a housemate of mine but I don't live with him this term. Cuz i live in southern ontario I support the leafs I guess but when playoffs come around i pick a team to support that might actually win.
I usually watch a decent amount of the winter olympics too I guess.
I watch football/soccer sometimes. Not a big fan but eh. Usually the Bundesliga, any game is fine because I don't support anyone. Also sometimes the Champions League.

If it makes you feel any better, I picked Michigan State to win the entire thing. I've clinched last place in my pool, and out of the twenty people in my pool, five of them have never watched sports.
Soccer and Basketball.
