I was just wondering, how close is this to being finished? It's been in development for over a year and I really, REALLY want to play it! I hope I didn't sound rude there.
This question has been asked quite a few times

The answer has always been "close but not quite"

--------------------
Ya, and the question is redundant. If you want to play what's been made so far, just download the base rom and get to it. I don't dictate a playable version for the next couple years.

The plan is for it to be done this THIS YEAR. Whether its actually finished or not.

In response to Lightvayne's Response to my Closing Response:

"I keep forgetting that SMWCPII is planned to be finished this year. Does that mean that regardless of state of unfinished ASM or not, we're going to push for it? If that's the case, we should get creative and work around what's unfinished and omit said unfinished code so we can get the hack out of the door. With as much time that has passed, I feel the hack is already starting to feel dated."

While I am still working on getting a date finalized with lui (and have not officially announced this yet, but hell, no one seem to pay attention to this forum anymore anyways) the plan is to set a final deadline, for everything. If the project is not done or at least "days away from being done" by the time the deadline is set, then we just release it "as is", with resources included. If past that point, someone wants to pick it up and finish the project on their own, then they may do so.

This project has gone on long enough and is way past the point that it has become a joke and an embarrassment. So after that final date, I will no long have our staff waste their valuable time trying to fix something no one else gives enough shit about to help out. I could care less how many people complain about it. If they want it done so bad, they can finish it themselves.
