But you submitted a level just fine last year ("Chai Tea", 71st place) and the rules then were exactly the same as now - that is, you posted your submission in the "Submissions" thread and then you had the option to make a level thread in the forum. Perhaps you just forgot? I don't see anything misleading about it, at least.

8 was only locked for the sake of making world X more special and preventing players from simply sticking Mario there. It's up to Jack whether or not he wants to do the same for 9.
I think you mean "If you release the game". At this rate, I'm not taking anything for granted. I understand making hacks take a while, but the previous two took less time than this one...maybe there's a technical issue? I wish they would update us on this, we're closer to the 2017 VLDC than the submission date of the 2016 VLDC.

The hack is dramatically bigger than any other SMW hack released. We actually split up the hack amount a few people so we wouldn't all have to extensively focus on 156 exits.
It is close to being released. It will likely be out before the end of November if all goes well, and in any case, it will still be out before the 10th VLDC starts.
