I've asked a couple months back if there was interest in a chess tournament and here it is. Also, since this has nothing to judge or where being the organizator has any actual benefits for me, concder me the first participant :>
How will this all go down? Well, honestly, I don't know. It all depends on how many people sign up. If we don't get too many (which is what I expect), we'll go for a round-robin styled tournament, which means it's all vs all.
If we get more, I might split them into groups which will do a round-robin and then have a classic K.O. sytem with 2 on 2.
Badges might get changed if I get a better design done. For the first 3 we have:
And for the other participants we have. (I also have Bishop and Knight)
Also, if you're wondering, we're gonna play using this.
For now, let's make the signup close in 2 weeks on Sunday May 22nd.
