can adding too much batteries in a series circuit break the light balb when hooked up?

If you google "simple light bulb circuit", you'll understand how electricity circuit works.

In school, one of the groups of students added 2 batteries in the series circuit and causes the light bulb to be brighter. I did that but with 3 batteries and it is even brighter. However, is there a limit that can cause the light balb to break? I was thinking adding 15 batteries makes it brighter than the sun.
Give thanks to RPG hacker for working on Asar.
i think we need to discuss the birds and the bees of electricity
Fun fact: You can add exactly 3.141 batteries before the light bulb explodes, so you were pretty close to the maximum actually.
Feel free to visit my website/blog - it's updated rarely, but it looks pretty cool!
do I get smarter if I put a battery in my brain?

formerly known as TheBasicASMGuy or TBASMGuy for short. hi.
lol, archive thread
What would happen with fifteen batteries, though? It's been nearly a decade since we convered this stuff in Physics class, and I haven't had much incentive to remember.
