I make levels, and intend to record playthroughs of other people's levels from here! I will NOT play/record insane kaizo levels though!

This was intended for me to post my levels and updates at first, but right after i read the rules, i thought, "Hey! Since i ordered an El Gato Screen Capture Card, i could play other people's levels, record them, and post the playthrough on their thread!"

In this thread, i will post my levels codes, as well as a link to the people's level thread that i played! Videos will be posted in their threads. No commentary.

My levels:

-Weekly Challenge: This level will be uploaded for a week, after that, it will be replaced by another level.
-Random Challenge: This level will stay for a minimum of one day, depending on how i feel. No set amount of days, really.
Difficulty on challenge level greatly vary.

I´ve played SMB-Mix 1-1 and Simple Puzzle (first level), I liked that they both are fair and not overly complicated.

I haven´t found the secret pipe to the exit yet, but I enjoyed the SMB-Mix 1-1. I don´t even think it needs the intro screens from SMB 1-1, this is playable enough to stand on its own. The stage has got a good pacing and balanced placing of bonuses. A tip: do you know how to make a mushroom turn into a flower if you´re already Super Mario? Place a flower and then drag a mushroom onto it. I think this level could benefit from it. Anyway, fun and easy!

Simple Puzzle (first level) required some exploring, I tried to reach the top of the first screen early on, but when I found the trampoline I managed to get the propeller cap. I found the beanstalk, can it be triggered even without trampoline?

You need the trampoline for this. But it seems someone broke my level by putting the spring at the ground wall at the end. Wall-jumping somewhat precisely will make big mario JUST able to touch the hard blocks to wall-jump on.


Secret pipes, i thought i'd bring in a DKC2 reference in some of my levels. Secrets can be unfair to find, but might be worth it.

I agree completely, optional secrets can be hidden in any far-fetched way you want! DKC2 is an excellent game, wonder if I´ll catch the reference. Probably not, I´ve not played it enough lately!

Right, so I managed to beat your other levels, but from what I can tell there is no logical solution to Random Challenge! 1. I can tell you that it is impossible to jump under two blocks without hitting the third. I can tell you this because I managed to figure out how to frame-buffer the shortest input possible on the jump button using the home menu. You still hit the spikes no matter what. What's the secret here? How were you allowed to upload this level?

Well, i'm about to replace Random Challenge, so might as well give out a big hint.
This is impossible to win in other game modes other than SMB3.
In SMB3, how do you get the Warp Whistle in 1-3?
