Well, I dont really know how can I properly put banners in my signature, since, as you can see, I can only put the respective hack/ game`s name, but not the banners (and since I am fairly new here, it would only be natural that I didnt know all this stuff, right?).

Also, one more thing: about the layout thingy, how can someone acquire that? Do you need to ask someone here or can you acquire it yourself? XD

You can use either HTML or BBCode to put images and links in your sig. Here's some example code:

HTML:
<a href="http://www.smwcentral.net/"><img src="http://www.smwcentral.net/link/88x31.gif"></a>

BBCode:
[url=http://www.smwcentral.net/][img]http://www.smwcentral.net/link/88x31.gif[/img][/url]

Both should look like this:

If you know HTML (or CSS), you can code a layout yourself and place it in the Header/Footer fields of your profile. If you don't, you can request one in this thread.

All right, it worked now. Thanks! And I`ll try and see if I can get a layout in that thread too. XD

Eh? You don't appear to have uploaded any hacks.

Do you mean where can you see your hacks after you submit them? If you submit a hack to the site, it will be listed under Waiting Hacks in one the hacks sections, depending on what game you've hacked (I believe we only host SMW, SM64, and YI hacks.) Your hack will be held in the Waiting Hacks section while it is moderated. If it's accepted, then it will be permanently added to the main hacks section. If not, then the moderator will remove it and then post in the Hack Moderation subforum their reasons for rejecting it and suggest ways to improve it.

You may already know much of this, but I'm not really sure what you're asking. I hope I was helpful.

Weird. I just tested it and my file appeared immediately after submitting it. Are you sure your file is actually being accepted? You should be redirected to a screen with a message saying that your file was successfully submitted. If you're redirected to the hack submission guidelines, then your file couldn't be uploaded. Be sure that you follow these guidelines when submitting a file:

Originally posted by Hack Submission Guidelines
Gather additional text content - Readme, credits, and special challenges are welcome, but optional.
ZIP it - WinRAR and 7zip are common software for creating a compressed ZIP archive.
Name the hack.
Declare the length - Enter the actual number of exits in the submitted version.
Select a difficulty - Easy, Normal, Hard, Kaizo: Light, or Kaizo: Hard. "Kaizo: Light" is considered to be equal to or easier than Kaizo Mario World, but harder than standard "Hard" hacks.
Describe your hack - In the description, tell players what your hack is all about. What should people expect from your hack?
Add Screenshots - A minimum of three screenshots from inside the emulator, no greater than 1MB each, are necessary to complete the submission. Please use a variety of screenshots showcasing different parts or aspects of your hack. Do not include screenshots inside the ZIP archive.

Additionally, be sure that your screenshots are under 256x224 pixels and in the right format (PNG, JPEG). Some emulators, such as ZSNES, produce BMP screenshots by default, which should be changed as BMP is not acceptable (afaik) and they quickly consume your file space.
