I hope Nin didn't end up using Map16 page 0A, since I used it because I assumed that was the page he reserved exclusively for this level. If this wasn't the place to post this, just tell me and I'll move it, I assumed this was the best place to put it.


I think I used it for either 4-8 or 5-2 but idr which one (if any). Erik knows I think.


When I made my level I downloaded the newest base ROM from the thread and used that. If that ROM is outdated then that's why I ended up using page 0A, because it was empty. Again, it depends on the date of the ROM, I guess. If it was updated after you made your levels, then, everything should be good, and if it was updated before... well... damn.

4-2, Pokey Plateau by dottedgirl

A fairly fun level, with no real irritating things of note, just some nitpicks, if I remember correctly. As such, this review shall be pretty short.



This is a blind jump, and needs some coins.



Couldn't these pokeys be re-colored to be "polar pokies" or something like that? AS in, white pokeys :)



This isn't really anything bad, considering that you don't need it for a YC, if I remember correctly. But I despise non-power filters, and I think this should be removed. (The two blocks that block you)



At this point in the level, it starts to get fairly boring with some koopajumping. I don't think it's necessary to have this here, you could either replace it or just take it out.

It's sad that I don't get to talk about the good things in this level in my reviews, because they're really change-suggestions, but I can talk about it to an extent. This level is FUN! I had a blast reviewing it, and while I can say that about plenty of plenty of levels in this collab, this one is no different than those in being entertaining as heck.

4-3, Snowpoint Forest by C E N T I P E D E

This is no exception. This level is just as enthralling and exciting as the actual Snowpoint Forest in the Pokemans, where you had that awesome route theme (216's theme, I believe?) and the great visuals. It doesn't quite keep the atmosphere as well, but in my opinion, that would kind of take away from the level if that had happened. (Plus, that being impossible while still being anything Mortonlike) Anyhow, Snowpoint Forest is amazing, just like it should be to use that name.



Literally, the only problem I have with this masterpiece of a level. (Ignore the savestates, they were so I wouldn't have to restart after screenshotting :P) This little dork of a block spikes me into the koopa almost (almost said lmaost) every time I go through the section. Remoooooooooooooo (ve)

Such a great level, but such a short review as a result :(

Anyhow, amazingly fun level. I only really more can suggest a different choice of music, considering that the current is a bit fast paced; though it fits enough that if you really just don't care, I don't think the music NEEDS to be changed. Then again, I can't even find another good snow tune that would fit, so heh. GG, no re.

4-4, I got the Chills by MercuryPennaway

Not a bad level, if a bit awkward at times, and pretty short. I don't have much to say about this one, because most of the irking parts of it are just nitpicks and odd graphical things. The level as to gameplay was pretty fun, but I can't really go into more depth than that, considering its simple style.



Morton is able to break through time and space. Clearly Morton is the master of all worlds. I don't quite know what to do about this, maybe make walls around it, make the ceiling solid



So, what do I need that P-Switch for?



Ah well, fun break, let's go fix it now, by making that wall slightly higher.

Also, that color palette+transparency is TRIPPY AF.



Okay, that happened. I don't know what you would want to do about this one either, since it has to do with the Morton coin's outlines being able to be eaten by coins. Maybe, change the outlines to act like the always moving turnblocks?



There's no reason for me to be up here, right? This is more of a question, since there is really no reason to change this to being unable to jump to the ceiling, since it isn't problematic at all.

Anyhow, level was pretty good, just a few garphical nitpicks and not much else. I'm not too much of a fan of the zombiespiny walls, but they provided nice obstacle whether they looked ridiculous or not. Other than that, nothing else to talk about - it was a good level, albeit short. There isn't much more that I can say as to changes or things I liked, personally.
