Hello, and welcome to my latest project. This hack is called "Mario's Final Quest".

Plot: Time, and time again, Bowser has been defeated by Mario. However, One day, Bowser discovers a gem that contains ultimate powers. With this gem, Bowser has plans to finally defeat Mario. Meanwhile, a Toad has found out, and goes to Mario's house to tell him that Bowser's has something up his sleeve. This is when Mario decides to defeat Bowser once and for all!

This project will feature ASM, Hex edits, Custom music, ExGFX, and more. So far I have the first level done.

Well, do you have any idea for a new level name? Also, I have 2 levels done, and updated the Mario OW GFX. However, I'll show those levels tommorrow, as I'm pretty tired.

These levels look p cool. "Cocoa Cavern" sounds nice, I second that.

I have about those bushes, the green in them looks weird. try changing them a bit.

I see you are using SMW Redrawn graphics- I would recommend you use the palette that is in the SMW Redrawn base, as it makes all the sprites and other graphics from that graphics set look significantly better. :)

One thing that will not be fixed by palettes, though, is those bushes; this is because the SMW Redrawn bushes use slightly different tiles than the default SMW bushes. Here is a Map16 file to fix that.

Also, quick question: The Boom Boom sprite won't generate the sphere to finish the level, even though the sprite is inserted. It still makes the sound when it was supposed to appear though. How would I fix it?

Personally I've never been a fan of icegoom's GFX, but aside from that, this hack looks nice. The levels look cool, and dayum, that OW tho. Where'd you learn to make maps like that?

I don't know for sure, but if the goal sphere thingy is a custom sprite, make sure when you insert it that it comes after the Boom Boom sprite on your sprite list. Kinda like this:

00 BoomBoom.cfg
01 GoalSphere.cfg

Basically in that fashion.

I've never dealt with the boom boom sprite though so I could be completely wrong. If you're still stuck, make a thread in the General SMW Hacking Help forum.
Heh. Thanks. About the OW, I taught myself how to make OWs. For the boss, I used a different one instead.

Hey Omegayoshi I like this project and I'm sure you won't cancel it. The levels are so cool, especially fortress, but I have found the name of the latest level, it's called "Foggy Grasslands"

OmegaYoshi, if the Boom Boom sprite is by Dahnamics then you have to specify which sprite number the goal sphere is in Boom Boom's ASM file.

Thanks, but I already put in a new boss. Also, I don't think you can change Mario's GFX when you have the "Separate Luigi Graphics" patch already inserted. Besides, I like the SMW Mario better.

You can. There should be a Mario.bin file for Mario's graphics in the patch's directory.
The title screen doesnt look bad but I think the main text could be another colour like Puprle or yellow to make it stand out more also I feel like the text is kinda messy. But its still good!

Title screen is okay, but like nathanrayman1998 said the font's colors need to have another color, I suggest blue color.
