Do we even have beehive graphics here? Well, we will when I submit these. The spikes are curved because they're supposed to be like giant bee stingers.


It has some treetop bits in it since beehives are typically found in trees.

Where are the ground tiles? They're compatible with SMW's default ground tilemaps, meaning this set will take up very little Map16 space.

It includes frosty pipes.

This is good if you want something fancier, but still Mario-like, for a castle BG.

I did draw a water ruins set back in 2011, but never got around to submitting it and lost it.

Woah, that's a lot of graphics.

They all look pretty sweet Gamma V, I'll probably use some bits and pieces from these in my kaizo hack.

Although the beehive graphics don't look all that beehiveish if you ask me. When I think beehive graphics I think of Hornet Hole from DKC2. They don't look bad at all though.

Oh awesome, these all look lovely. Your graphics are among my favorite on this site and I've already used many of them in my hacks. Hope to use some of these in future projects.

These are absolutely amazing. And I like the meme graffiti wall, it's very creative. Construction site is super creative and well made too.

Nice! I remember helping you with the Mario Green Hill Zone graphic's rock palette. Very nice, I might use the Water Ruins!

Your Ocean and Water Ruins tilesets are great. I'll try to make good use of these two for sure!

I also like the Islands background, although the ocean bothers me a little. Still a nice job on it though.

Well, while I wish you hadn't decided to make newer graphics more SMW-styled (I liked your old style better; it seems more detailed and with more colors)...nice job! This has to be one of the biggest graphics releases I've seen. I think the water ruins and construction sets are my favorite.

Beyond that, though...
- The island background reminds me of Kirby.
- The beehive set is a good idea (I've only ever seen one custom beehive tileset, and it wasn't by someone on SMWC), though perhaps you could include some honeycombs—hollow or otherwise—as decoration?
- The forest foliage could use a pattern beyond just solid green.
- The graffiti wall could also work as a normal castle background, and it almost looks like it might even work as Layer 3.
- The grassland and snow tilesets look a bit too similar to SMW's if you ask me.
- I like the design of the ice cave, even though I probably wouldn't use it as ice with that palette; it might also make a nice crystal set, and it would work well with palette animation.
- The stained glass castle background is pretty, though it seems like it would only really fit in boss rooms or something. I suppose it's easy enough to replace the windows with more bricks for the rest of the castle, though.

Wow, these graphics are sweet! The only one I don't really like is the bee hive tbh, because it just looks really weird with the bushes, bee stinger spikes, and what appears to be floating honey. On the other hand, the graffiti wall is my favorite one. I also, really like the ice cave, especially the Christmas lights, it's a really cute detail. Anyway, keep up the great work, Gamma V!
