Welcome to my singular, pretty lame C3 thread. Anybody remember that hack I showed off last time? Well, I have a short demo of 3 levels ready for this C3. Lame last-day submission? Probably, but I want to show a little more than a few screenshots.

So, here's the link. Have fun in moderation, and please tell me what you think.

Assuming you're talking about the lack of sprites in the screenshots, they were added some time ago but I didn't feel up to taking new screenshots.

How the hell do you detect my emulator? That is just creepy...

Just played the demo. It's pretty good, a lot better than my old hack, that's for sure. I like the way you introduced the whole raccoon enemies in the second level.

A few things that could be improved:

- The placement of the Yoshi Coins is... bland. They're too easy to get most of the time, and the obstacles that block them aren't difficult to bypass at all.

- Maybe I just suck or something, but the first level starts off a little annoying. I know there was the warning in the message box, but that first mole still sort of caught me off-guard, especially since the message sort of gave me the impression that I should just be expecting rocks or something only, not bombs as well. The stage smooths out after that though.

- What is the point of hiding the status bar in the second level? There's a message box telling me about it at the start, and the level is named based on that fact, but it doesn't seem to be very important in the stage... as a matter of fact, if it wasn't for those, I probably wouldn't have noticed it was missing in the first place #ab{>_>}

- This one's the least important. Why is the third level called Aqua-Coulee when there's barely any focus on water in the level other than like the first few screens? Just felt like pointing that out #ab{<_<}


Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiko: I think there's an ASM thing that does that. And yeah, I had a bad time too (in LM) D:
