Hello everyone, you probably have heard about "Proyecto Latino - El despertar de los espíritus" (in English "Latino Project: The Awakening of the Spirits") before, if you haven't: this hack is a collaboration between spanish users in Fortaleza Reznor and we have prepared a special demo for this Summer C3!

Firstly, I want to give you guys an update about what we have accomplished so far: We already have almost every level done, two bosses already coded, many graphics were redrawn to fit in the graphical style of our hack, some levels were balanced, etc. I could continue this list, we've accomplished a ton of things since the last time we posted an update on SMWC.

I hope you people enjoyed this demo, we worked really hard to pull off a demo for this C3.

Also, I forgot to mention in the first post, some aspects of this hack might not be final.

Played some of the hack and I really am impressed. Not only the levels were fun but some touches of the hack like the item inventory, the status bar, the file loading and plenty of other things. Also "Musical Forest" is a really interesting level!

I'm not sure how I did but sometimes in the map pressing Start and Select doesn't work at all, they work again after I exit a level though - not sure how exactly I triggered that.

I can confirm this. I don't know the cause either.
Really cool hack you all are creating.
Can't wait for the final product.

I made it completely from scratch. I should update its code someday... It's very unoptimized and almost unreadable to me.

I saw how LX5 made that hud, he worked hard to finish it, he doesn't steal resource lol, LX5 is a very skilled asmer and can make stuff like this.
