[NON LEVEL] Which is better, Lunar Magic, or Super Mario Maker?
Considering this is a big debate, which level editor is the best and why is this editor better than the other.
Example AND my opinion

I like Lunar Magic better because there is more variety for level design, graphics AND physics.
Now the earth shattering question is, what's your favorite level editor?Hi, I'm a signature! Hack Thread Hack Testing Status: Available. Layout by Koopster.
Obviously if you put the two up together, Lunar Magic will always be more robust and allow for more creativity, but of course with the cost of being stuck with SMW graphics and physics unless you want to do a whole lot more work.
I personally enjoyed creating levels more in mario maker however, as drawing on the touch screen is more intuitive and easier, making things faster and more streamlined. I never felt like I had to jump through any hoops or make any elongated motions to mess with one single thing, like you would have to in Lunar magic just to make a gap in the ground (place down ledge, then corner tiles). The editor just feels like a second language once you get used to it.
People seem to appreciate my content in Mario Maker more, but that might just be because tons of more people can access it; including people that may not even know what an emulator is. It may also just be because there are no standards.
That's another problem I had with rom hacking, when I was making levels in Lunar Magic, it didn't feel fun to me, because I was constantly thinking about how my levels would be rejected by submissions. The thought that someone would play my levels, call them horrible, and then not even allow me to submit them to the site constantly kept me doing things I wouldn't have ever done in the first place in Lunar Magic, things that were never fun to me. Placing down decorations in Lunar Magic is meticulous and really annoying. It is a bit less annoying in Mario Maker, but it is still somewhat annoying, but it's easier.
Lunar Magic is better in terms of customizability, but I've had more than three times the amount of fun with Mario Maker in the short time I've owned it.
It's just a bunch of wasted potential, but it's still just enough fun to last for a long time.
