That's usually why you should do ascetics after the level design. You can build a fun or nice level, and then fill the screen with as much shit as possible. Very pretty overworld too! The purple trees are a cute touch, are they going to appear in levels too? idk how i feel about the greyed out paths on that desert side though. the two pointed ones look like they lead right off the cliff. If there's a way to make them diagonal, that'd be cool.
They are actually diagonal in the path reveal, so I guess that counts for something. I'm planning on changing that path one day as it's doesn't look the greatest.
The level actually isn't very hollow at all. I just can't really multitask when the level becomes very complex with many things occurring onscreen, so I mainly took pics in sections where I could rest for a second.
