Tip: Try playing around with the Horizontal Level Settings in Lunar Magic. You can create some uniquely-designed levels unlike anything seen in the original Super Mario World.

Horikawa Otane asked whether or not I wanted to run MaGL 3 on the Talkhaus - raocow's community, if you're unaware - like six months ago, and told her I would (figured it would be smaller scale than the VLDCs, which are simply way too draining for me at this point). I delayed it for quite a while due to some RL stuff, but she reminded me of it again about a week ago and I decided to kick it off.

Also, should you care to reap that glorious e-fame for whatever reason, raocow expressed interest in playing all of the levels after the contest is over.

Yep. That's all.

DONT

there are some rad peeps in there like learning-timebuster and leet and wolfolotl (even if i had a sort of falling out with xem), but you will regret it the instant you come across one of the shitters

I don't know what you're talking about. I've joined it recently and haven't come across any of those "shitty" people. I know the site has scarred you for life and such, but don't let your experience ruin others'.
A change of scenery is always nice.

I play forum games and draw furries. I'm mostly active on Discord and Twitter.
Just for fun, I played a couple of levels that people have submitted so far. Let's just say that the current trend is to submit content that, though lacking in quality, will definitely get a reaction from Raocow.

In other words, if you make a decent, fun level, preferably with some resources, you'll easily stand out for the time being.

I hope people don't shy away from entering because of SMW being a bit less user-friendly than the other things out there (SMBX and Mario Maker).

Although it's still really early before the deadline and some may have school/college now so I'm assuming peeps will take their time with this, which is a good thing.

Getting people interested in doing things with SMW is a really cool repercussion this contest will have.
i hope i win
