edit 8/22/17: Submitted! https://www.smwcentral.net/?p=section&a=details&id=16082

This will be my first hack, Super Gracie World. It will be kaizo-lite difficulty, with relatively short levels. It will be a while until it will be ready, as I still have a lot to learn about using Lunar Magic. Currently I have 2 completed levels and have 4 or 5 about halfway done. I am really enjoying creating these, and I am trying to make levels that are fun to play without savestates and don't take hours to complete, although the later levels may be a bit more difficult.

Here is the first part of the latest level, a ghost house where you have to use a single Eerie to traverse the level. You have to get past some obstacles quick enough to get back on him in time.

[edit: I just realized there is a blind jump in this level, I will do something about that :/ ]

This next video has already been posted in the screenshots/videos thread and is a little outdated, but I may as well put it here as well. [There have been a few changes since I made this video.]
Lavender Skies

I will keep you guys posted and put up some more videos/screenshots when I have the time.

Not bad from what I've seen. There are a few floating and stacked Munchers in the underground part of level 1. I've noticed some use of default blocks in the underground part, too. Good luck with finishing it!

The ghost house looks very nice! Keep up the good work my friend.

Thank you. I have since changed the default blocks to ground tiles, but I still need to add in some skull blocks or something to replace the floating and stacked munchers. I appreciate the input.

Thanks man! I updated it just a little bit, to remove some cheese and a blind jump.

A fairly simple Switch Palace

I really like the simplistic look of that switch palace in all honesty :p
You could add a spiny barrier or something so they're actually meant to be killed rather than leaving a space for you to jump, but that's just a random suggestion.
Very good level-design wise! I like all of the parts except for the bomb-omb part, which seems a bit slow.

That part with the Spinys is still possible even without tossing the Bob-Omb upward.

How am I so creative? I think taking walks might have something to do with it.
Every single level I will ever make in SMM2 will be easier than Ultra Necrozma.

And that. I just meant waiting for the bomb to explode and such
Appreciate the feedback :)
I think I might add an extra spiny to one of the rows to force you to throw it, although I'm wary of sprite limitations, as there is already a rare chance that other sprites will turn invisible.

True, it does feel a little slow, but it's not that bad imo. Maybe I could add something to keep you busy while you wait?

Shell Jump City
This is my favorite level so far.

[EDIT: updated video with more level decorations]

easy but sweet, good job

--------------------

Decent level so far, but I feel like you could've added a few further obstacles to spice it rather than just requiring standard shell jumps over and over without any challenges to face afterwards. Despite that, you're going in the right direction.
Yeah I agree, the level is fairly easy and simple. This hack is meant for people new to kaizo and people who want something that won't take forever to beat without tools. I've got some more ideas for a "Shell Jump City Part II" that will be closer to the end of the hack and feature more difficult and interesting tricks.

As always, thanks for the constructive feedback. It really helps to boost my confidence and keep me motivated to keep improving and making better levels :)

Nice. Some obstacles look breakable if you get P-speed, but fun nonetheless.
After much fiddling around, I've put together a little demo world for y'all to try out.
6 Levels, including a castle with a boss, and a bonus level.
Temporary custom overworld.
New stuff I haven't shown before.
Stuff you have seen, tweaked around a bit.
I'm avoiding posting screenshots or new videos, because I want you to experience it all for yourself ;)

Feel free to give it a shot, have fun, try to break it, give suggestions, whatever.
You can find the ips in my files. #smw{:peace:}

Very cool ideas and satisfying gameplay, especially in the last 3 levels! Some things were a bit lackluster, but most of it was awesome!
Yay good to hear. Glad you had fun! Any specifics on what could be improved?

You know you could've just uploaded this demo in SMW hacks section. Your hack won't get rejected and some people can say what to improve in final version to be accepted

For sure, I wasn't sure how that worked, or whether I was ready to make it official. Thanks, I'll look into it.
