this one was a lot of fun to make, learning a little more about line guides and aquatic enemies.

it's a bit tougher than most of the other levels so far, the last world will be just a step or two above this in difficulty.

I dig this level a bunch and how creatively it exploits its sprites!

You could do another level that takes advantage of line guides and dolphins at a later point, but that's just a fairly random suggestion.

the 1st half of this was actually the 2nd or 3rd thing i ever worked on lol, i just came back to it recently when i got more ideas.

i still have a lot more i want to do with line guides, and i haven't even messed with dolphins at all yet, so that level might just happen ;) that might make a good vertical level.

p.s. i have abandoned capitalization altogether :p

okay update time
things are slow, but steady. i've just started a new job and i have less free time, and the levels are becoming more difficult and complicated, so it's taking a while.

still, i have made some progress :p
here's an ice cave level "Not Well Thawed Out"
the part with the football/lava slope is cool but a little too RNG heavy, i have to somehow make it a little less annoying.

i've also got another level halfway done called "Dolphinfestation", a sinking ghost ship infested with dolphins, whaddya know.

Interesting and good! I have an issue with the skull raft section-- it should be more clear that you're supposed to spinjump on stuff and move forward. Maybe some coins leading to that podoboo. Right now, it's more intuitive to just stay on the skull raft.

Nice job again, but I think you didn't really have to place that Podoboo at the part with skull raft, because this makes level way faster to complete. Also, no beginner would spin jump on that lava ball, but rather stand on the raft.

Updated version of the ice cave and preview of the ghost ship.
Said ghost ship will probably be a bonus level, as it is pretty tough and a little unintuitive for beginners (like spin jumping through the dolphin). I tried to show a couple different ways things could go.

Another Special World level.
some inspiration from the first levels of Dram World and Kaizo 3 in this one. First half, you have to race a bullet bill. Second half is pretty difficult, but it's only two tricks, so I think anyone could do it.

Well-designed first half, very nice. I like the aesthetics of this level. However, I think that the second half should somehow build off the first half instead of being completely different (and too short).
Yeah, perhaps you could've built your level entirely around the gimmick you went for in the first room rather than making it too short later and with a generic gimmick. Cool level otherwise!

For sure, I did kind of feel like the end was weird. I might be a little too afraid of being repetetive. But thinking about it, I could easily put a better second half on this. Thanks

I have to agree with Katerpie and ft029. The second half is shorter and is completely different than the first part. Other than that, nice level and its aesthetics.
