Made a testing thread for new beta. I hope it'll be tested this time.

Anyway, as for new progress, those who voted on Cave of state saving, i'll probably disappoint you: it's actually difficult to come up with new obstacles and i'm not enjoying making it right now. I'll probably demote it to Bowser's Castle room or something. Instead i'll focus on a different gimmick:

Power Surge Castle that you may remember from earlier is facing a redesign with slightly different gimmick.



It'll be used in some puzzles.



It'll also have a new custom boss.

Speaking of new custom bosses, this is a thing.

As for the new levels, we have Spiny Spin Around, a sequel to my jump 1/2 level.

Gimmick looks interesting. The Yoshi boss looks fun too. Remilia is just too big, lol

Spiny Spin Around is my favorite out of the whole post, just the multitude of ways you've come up with obstacles regarding the Spiny eggs...

The Pitchers in the background is really great.
I can see it been used in a lot of ways for some truly creative set-ups.

Long time, no see. I finally recorded a couple of levels and a boss battle. Wow.

Weighty Way - Second Star Road level. That disco shell bounce part is pretty difficult, so i'll make it a little more forgiving.

Spiny Spin Around - that level i mentioned before is a sequel to my JUMP1/2 level. It's supposed to be a third star road level, but i find it easier than the second one. Mostly because of aformentioned disco shell setup.

Big Baby Yoshi Boss - I didn't record entire level with it because it's rough. Now that i think of it the boss is kinda basic. I'll probably make it more complex with different phases (I thought of having different colors with different abilities but i only implemented red color).

Remember that unnamed bubble forest level? Well, here's small progress update. I decided to build second half without bubble shooters but it'll still have a light puzzle element.

Next level is going to be shmup-like level, where you are free to move anywhere in air but you must avoid incoming hazards.



This is going to be the last new level for demo 2 before it is out for beta test.
The premise of that shmup-like level looks good so far. Wonder what else you have in store!
