only one level done so far, but there is only 12 anyway..

There will be custom gfx, and this will be like a world 5 and on. No hard mode will be used.

Looks pretty cool. Didn't even realize SML was hacked. :P

The new graphics look pretty nice so far. I can't wait to see what you come up with by hand-drawing your own.
Ground tiles are smb 2 usa, cement blocks,bricks , and the chucks that replace the fly are awesomezac of mfgg.(awesomezac is not me)

The ground looks more like Super Mario World's to me. It looks really good either way. I never would've thought of reskinning the Fly into a Chuck though, probably because the former only takes one stomp to kill unless you did some sort of ASM hacking.
I haven't been able to find the sprite code so no asm hack, I couldn't get rid of those couple weird pixels so i mad it back to fly, I did shade the ground to be more like smw.
I polished 1-1 and fixed the cut off and removed some weird experimental tiles.

Polished 1-3 used tiles from original Mario bros.
Looking good, Zac. I didn't notice any odd pixels on the Chuck sprite, but my vision sucks, so that might be why. I also noticed that you changed the heart sprite into a moon. Is that a reference to Lunar Magic and SMW hacking?
More changes, the fly is back to a chuck, and the bunbun is now a lakitu, in a clould level instead of trees. i changed the gao, to a magickoopa but will maybe make him a fire bro.

Looks good! retrostage has GB flash boards coming soon ... yea with there own programmer #w{=P} simply hook programmer up to PC stick board into programmer an flash any GB game ROM to it (depending on size of game) you can publish your own games! also have them for gens,nes,snes,n64 ....anyways keep up flow good work
I ran out of ideas when i got to the marine pop, but when something good comes i'll resume the project.
That's a nice idea turning the Bunbun into a Lakitu. I also have some ideas to edit both enemies and level styles. Let me know if you like.
well the hack is 1/2 done and ran out of ideas. So if you have any I'm open!
