It's short but hard and getting the secret exit is extremely difficult without using Lunar Magic for help, though mostly everything is visible (nothing like blind pipe jumps or P switches behind objects, though there is a blue door somewhere). You just have to figure this labyrinthine level out and think outside the box in order to find the exit.
That room was mainly based on Grass Tower and Muncher Fortress from M2W2V. I wanted to create a "plant-based" room.
I want Bowser's Castle to be hard (but obviously not Kaizo). I have completed the current version through the fence section without savestates (though it took me a long time) but not the Muncher section. I was wondering whether it is too hard (though it seems easier with small Mario).
Some other potential ideas for rooms I have already got are a P-balloon room (based on Tubular, though it will play differently; it will still be very hard, but not as unforgiving), a room involving riding Lakitu's cloud (based on Sky Sanctuary from RttC), and a Magikoopa room (inspired by SMW2).
Have you played through the IPS? I highly doubt this is Kaizo, though perhaps I should remove the most claustrophobic jumps. I have got very far through this without savestates, just not the end.
Yes everyone this is still ongoing. Sorry for the silence over the last little while. I have begun to work on it again tonight and I'm going to be checking out everyone's finished levels tomorrow. This time I promise . I will provide feedback to everyone who has ask so far and I will clean up the list of what is finished and what still needs to be completed.
