Favorite Nicktoons

Well, what are your favorites? (Nicktoons are cartoons originally shown on Nickelodeon)

A few on my list are:

Spongebob
Avatar
Rocko's Modern Life
The Wild Thornberries
Angry Beavers
Invader Zim

I guess I could say Rugrats and CatDog, since my parent had a couple of VHS tapes of those shows when I was little; I just stuck them into an old TV we had, and that's where the magic happened.

Edit: Spongebob is another one of my favorites; I just thought we were talking about the shows that already got cancelled at first.

Just 4: SpongeBob SquarePants, The Penguins of Madagascar, Teenage Mutant Nija Turtles (2012) and The Fairly OddParents.

Danny Phantom and Life As a Teenage Robot.
i grew up on spongebob and fairly odd parents

pretty much the only other one i watched and actually remember enjoying is avatar, and even then that was on that weird nicktoons channel with those blurbs and trivia nuggets from the creators coming up every now and then. didn't really hurt the experience but it was a weird way to experience it.

also i haven't watched tv in years lol
Rocko's Modern Life. I binge-watched the entire series a while back and good stuff. The airport episode is probably the most consistently salty piece of media I have ever watched in my life. The driver's training one would be one of the funniest episodes of a television show I've ever seen, too. Great stuff it does surreal humour really well, because for as zany and lolsorandom as it gets there's always an element keeping it grounded in some crazy but believable world.

I feel like I don't have to explain Spongebob or Fairly Odd Parents. Also was Jimmy Neutron a Nicktoon? idk we didn't have Nickelodeon so I watched them when they were licensed from YTV
ask me if i give a f*ck...
Rocko's Modern Life was my shit back in the day, even though I didn't understand all the adult undertones back then. I rewatched most of the show a few years back in there's some fucked up shit that wouldn't fly today (an airplane crashing into a tower-like structure at the airport).

The most memorable episode had to be Wacky Deli. It was literally a cartoon episode about a cartoonist hiring a bunch of idiots (Rocko and his friends) to sabotage his cartoon in order to get it canceled.

Hey Arnold was some good shit too. Even had some deep, touching moments like the Christmas episode and Arnold's parents' backstory. I was disappointed when they canceled plans for another movie to solve the mysteries surrounding his parents, but now the movie is back in production so that's cool.
I can't help but feel young when people say they grew up on the 90s cartoons that were actually good
