work lol. I got invited to an end of semester party, and there's 1 or 2 nights at an arts space I'll be checking out. A theater in town is also showing a toooooon of Christmas movies, so hopefully i can catch a few of them.
No confirmation yet, but my best friend finishes her schooling soon. So if she's home for the holidays i'll (hopefully) be seeing her a lot.
I'm spending christmas with my dad and boxing day with my mom.
on the eve of christmas: do nothing until the evening, go to a church, come back, drink egg nog, then go to bed
christmas itself: open presents, unload the stockings, then probably play smash 4 or set up the presents that require assembly (probably both)
I cannot believe that christmas is already this near! I don't really think I can do much at the time, but we are planning on visiting our dad's parents' place so I can share the holidays with my younger cousins.
we celebrate christmas but we're not doing anything this christmas because my dad has work (yes) and i'm going with him. also i'll probably stay in my neighbor's house because they throw epic christmas parties. same with new years.
There's gonna be Christmas dinner in my stepfather's mother's and I... I don't wanna go
There's a lot of ongoing drama around his family right now and things might take an interesting turn over there, but honestly I'm just not interested in all these people
There's a fair chance my mom is gonna be super tired after working all day today, so maybe the two of us could stay home and he'd just go with my sis. But idk if she would really do that
Same shit as every year. Christmas Eve is spent with my dad's side of the family. It's tradition to have a lot of seafood so I'm expecting to get my helping of that tonight. Christmas Day is with my mom's side of the family, specifically at my grandma's. She doesn't venture out of the typical pasta and meats Italian grandma deal.
As for gifts, just expecting some predictable adult stuff, although my sister got me Pokémon and Mario cookie cutters.
I'm spending this evening with my family. I prepared turkey since I love cooking. It should be done in 2 hours actually. I'll be going to church this evening with my sister as well, it'll be too late for my parents and younger sisters.
Tomorrow I'm going to go to a large Christmas dinner with all my relatives. We're celebrating this with the entirety of the family of my father's side. My uncle will be cooking there, he's a very good cook. I'm sure it will be absolutely wonderful.
The day after, I'm going to rest at home. Drink chocolate milk and watch some movies. I really like the Christmas spirit. Makes you feel comfortable and at home in a very nostalgic way.
