Tip: The "Edit Animation Settings" tab in Lunar Magic is very convenient if you want to disable certain animations in the game to make room for your own graphics or ExAnimations.
It may be from a game of the Mario Party Series if I`m not mistaken, I don`t know which game because I hardly ever play Mario Party. Looks nice, as always. This may sound stupid, but is this a minigame?
Nope, not from a Mario party game.
Hint: It's from a handheld port of a classic game.
And yes, it's just a minigame. This is one of the "fun activities" that you can take part in on Euphoria Island, the central hub of the game.
If you can, you should implement the possibility of "You vs. Dark Boo", where the Boo is faster and a bigger reward can be earned. And you could make it the same color as in PM:TTYD!
-------------------- It's not even close to Halloween, and already Christmas Sales are starting early!
There are 4 boos.... Boo, Black Boo, Green Boo and Red Boo in that order I think.... Also, will they be in linear levels or multiple path levels? Lastly, will this actually unlock something? Maybe one of these things should give you a shard or what ever they are.... Are these going to have "spike blocks" and "half-blocks"? Maybe even a new block that's similar, here (like "spring blocks" they act like forced springs if you either have or don't have the "flip block" flipped)?
EDIT: Wait a second..., Fawful's Fortune Telling is like that fortune-telling game in SMBDX.... Since there are only 2 in that game I wonder what else you'll pull out of your bag... or will there be a SMW2+3 for Super Players?

This will just be an optional minigame. The shards will be obtained in a different way, which I've already determinted. You will have a chance to gamble your coins when playing Yoo vs. Boo. I plan on using some of the items from the original minigame in my version.
Oh, I hadn't realized that SMBDX had that fortune telling thing in there as well. I'm not going to pull anything else from that game, though. ;)
Wow, I never get this jumpy unless I'm getting a new game. Keep working on it, Golden Yoshi. I'm sure that your hack will make in in the Featured Hacks section! Also, do you know how many minigames you're going to put in there?

So far, I've only thought of this You vs. Boo. I think this will be the only minigame, though. There'll be a lot of other side activities to do in the hack as well.

Since:
Location: HAHA, I HAVE NO IDEA
Here's a small taste of my first You vs. Boo race.
Just want to show I actually got it all to work ;). As you can see, there are some elements from the SMBDX version in it already.
So far, I've implemented the Face Blocks, which toggle the corresponding blocks between solid and passable.
Again, just a small taste. I finally was able to get the race system to work perfectly, so I figured I'd give a small sneak-peek. Hopefully I will be able to show a video of a race in action soon!
I was saying that the face blocks weren't over the pits.... Obviously there were spikes and pits or else it wouldn't be Mario! Speaking of which do you have the spike blocks or the repeated time swap yet? I'm just curious.

Well, just trying to mix it up a bit. ;)
I haven't implemented the spike blocks yet, but I will. I'm sure I'll be able to do it with the Animated Hurt Blocks in Block Tool.
As previously mentioned, I now have a video of my first You vs. Boo race. I'm pleased with how it turned out, and am satisfied that I was able to make it work. As you can see at the end of the video, this minigame is hosted by a familiar character...
Here's how the race works:
Before starting the race, you must bet 25 coins. The race is won by touching the Mario block at the end before the Boo reaches the Boo block. If you win, the coins you wagered are multiplied. For this one, your coins are doubled. The harder the race, the more your coins are multiplied when you win.
Awesome work with that. I remember having fun with it in Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, and it looks like it will be loads of fun in your hack too. Nice music too - is it the theme from SMB Deluxe? It sounds like it to me.

No, actually, it's the boss theme from Wario Land 3...that you made.
