Tip: If it's possible to carry a tileset-specific sprite (such as a Buzzy Beetle or Bob-omb) through a pipe, make sure it has the correct graphics and sprite palette on the other side!
So yeah, this is a demo, 11 exits, of what I've been working on for the past year or so. Yes, year, I am extremely slow. I hope ya'll enjoy it, as I put a ton of love and polish into this thing.
So I don't have to draw any new titlescreen graphics, actually.
This is one of my favorite projects at the moment. The screenshots look gorgeous, as always. I'll pass up on this demo since I already played the previous one, but I want to wish you good luck with your project!
The level design is much more gorgeous than the aesthetics in my opinion. Some levels are simple yet great in the fact that the sprites are placed in expectation of where the player will go.
I already played the first demo - while it was already great, this one is a nice improvement due to all the little design and aesthetic tweaks. Specially love how the secrets are really well hidden and, more importantly, fun to look for, as always (I actually haven't found everything yet lol). Plus, the more vibrant palettes are much nicer to look at.
Only real issues I found were two pipes with (likely) wrong exit settings ([1], [2]), as they send the player to a blank screen with nothing on it. Also, two pipes on the mountain level with Ninjis send the player back to the first level ([1], [2]). Nothing major, though.
Fantastic work here. Certainly looking forward to the full release
This looks really good so far. I'm assuming that layer 3 is there in the screenshots? It fits really well in the backgrounds. Can't wait for full release!
Tight hack. The level design is pretty much on point for what you're trying to do. Really good colors too, not something I can say about most visuals I see on here.
Also minor bug report: when you pause, the music is gone after you unpause. You probably already know about this but just in case

Is this where your cldc entry comes from? Man, I simply adore how your levels look aesthetcially. I can't do much but admire all the work behind even the tiniest detail.
I'll be sure to give your demo a shoot also!

At first I thought the name was a reference to Dragonball Super, but then I realized it was just a play on SMW's name.
Anyway, I really like those screenshots, you got some nice palettes and good use of the vanilla graphics. I'm not a fan of the green cave though, but other than that, it looks nice.
