Tip: When determining a time limit, remember that players won't be as familiar with the level as you are. If you normally complete the level with the timer around 100, others might run out of time on their first try.
So I don't have to draw any new titlescreen graphics, actually.
This is one of my favorite projects at the moment. The screenshots look gorgeous, as always. I'll pass up on this demo since I already played the previous one, but I want to wish you good luck with your project!
I already played the first demo - while it was already great, this one is a nice improvement due to all the little design and aesthetic tweaks. Specially love how the secrets are really well hidden and, more importantly, fun to look for, as always (I actually haven't found everything yet lol). Plus, the more vibrant palettes are much nicer to look at.
Only real issues I found were two pipes with (likely) wrong exit settings (, ), as they send the player to a blank screen with nothing on it. Also, two pipes on the mountain level with Ninjis send the player back to the first level (, ). Nothing major, though.
Fantastic work here. Certainly looking forward to the full release
Tight hack. The level design is pretty much on point for what you're trying to do. Really good colors too, not something I can say about most visuals I see on here.
Also minor bug report: when you pause, the music is gone after you unpause. You probably already know about this but just in case
Is this where your cldc entry comes from? Man, I simply adore how your levels look aesthetcially. I can't do much but admire all the work behind even the tiniest detail.
I'll be sure to give your demo a shoot also!
