The casino that jack set up for c3 was really fun. But I'm sure everyone agreed that it distracted from the actual creativity part of the event itself. I would love to do it again and I know no one wants to see all that coding go to waste, so why don't we have a separate casino event?

I don't think this would be a bad idea actually, but one potential problem (and perhaps the worst problem) could be the site lagging into infinity if too much people use the threads at the same time, kinda like what happened last time a few times.

I'm not sure about just hosting it "for no reason". It's a very spammy event for the forums, more spammy than eShroom Corp and SNN himself (waaaaaaaay more). And as pointed out by RanAS, it's also very costly for the server.

I think we can think out better and less spammy events of that sort for the future, though. Something in the style of forum games, not necessarily related to C3. I'm sure Impetus had some things in mind actually.
